I'm trying to wrap my head around the crude oil market both fundamentally and technically.

Can anyone please refer blogs, newsletters, news, and any other source of information that is helpful when trading crude oil?

Also, are there any services that offer a live pit-based squawk service? I've tried RANSquawk but wasn't too impressed with what they offer for energy traders.

    Thanks much in advance!!

    Schork Report.

Like all really worthwhile reports of value, you have to pay for it. I believe they offer a trial.

Petromatrix report by Oliver Jakobs is quite good too, again, it's not free

Edit: Don't know of any squawks, in terms of fundamentals spot price is very largely driven by wider market sentiment - risk on/off etc. Spreads are moved more by the fundamentals often, and there is no way to get a real time analysis of them really - unless you are trading the physical which is obv only a few shops in the world
