  4. rimm has a tendency of rebounding huge after forming a base. This base can have a duration of 1-6 months, but once it if formed it is a lanchpad.

There is no doubt that rimm aapl and other high tech stocks have sold off a lot recently, but solid fundamentals will keep the momentum going in the longer term.

  6. No one shorts these stocks for more than a month and makes money. You have a greater chance of getting Neil Armstrong to confess to faking the moon landing than making money shorting rimm, aapl, goog and so on.

We're in a web 2.0 dotcom technology boom that began in 2002 and will continue for many decades. Anyone who says short longer than a few weeks will ring up massive debt, which will have to be repayed with credit cards and loans. Tons of consumer spending and global growth. A new world order. A revolution unfolding.

The financials and retail are a good short. But shorting rimm, goog, aapl, bidu is like stepping in front of a train. You will get crushed.

  9. What's it like to lose 110 points on GOOG and 100 on BIDU since my call nearly 2 weeks ago?

  10. Technically that would be 100 poitns if you include the very peak. Obviously, it is very improbable to sell at the very top or buy at the very bottom.
