This stock has made for some great trades in the last few weeks, might be a buyer in the morning.

    Footwear:

$79.00 ..."average cost of a pair of crocs footwear in isreal"
$3.60 .."cost of a pair of pirated, chinese made crocs being sold to Palestinians"

  6. I tried the knock offs, they are not the same. They are heavier, the don't form to your feet like crocs, and I bet they will stink in short order.

you tried one knock off....there are 100's of knock offs..in coconut grove in one of the kiosks they are selling ones that are identical...and i mean identical the only difference is the price...i have crocs and they are not worth $30 ( my wife bought them for me)..sorry it was a fad and the price of the stock is definitely showing it was a fad...

This is actually the British Knights commercial I remember, a recollection that is testament to the efficacy of their marketing.

Getting back to Crocs, the company still had positive earnings growth year over year, and is expanding in Europe and Asia. You may recall another set of ugly footwear people loved to hate. I am speaking of course of the beloved Australian Ugg from Deckers Outdoor (DECK).
And as for the clone makers, some how Reef still manages to sell flip-flops for $45 a pair, even though they are just "cheap rubber and straps". Disclaimer: I own CROX.
