No question, if that's correct in a day, that's impressive regardless of the prop firms money. However, We made a killing in 2008 also--- lots of people did. Al Toid
Sorry WRB-- I don't fall for word game traps. Last I heard you were vending trading info -- nothing wrong with that, as long as you don't lead noobs down the primrose path.
poor , poor surfer. by suggesting eric p "uses opm" clearly shows utter ignorance to what a trader is. i use margin given to me by my brokers..but its not remotely close to the what "OPM" is. i do have to say to Eric P, +988k day is inspiring. instead of being jealous; why not channel that envy to better yourself? i did just that many years ago myself....and it worked!!!
You know exactly whom I'm talking about that's a private trader that I was hinting towards...a name you were seeking as proof in your conversation with NoDoji. A name you already know and is a buddy of yours. Timothy Sykes turned 12k into +million dollars and still maintains the lifestyle via using that money for other trading business ventures. I can name a few others out of Europe that outperform Timothy Sykes of the U.S. but I'm sure you'll ask for more names that you requested NoDoji to give you. Next time, please do a better job at hiding the fact that you're marketsurfer. It's too obvious. P.S. Now that we know whom you are...your new user name has been added to my ignore list because ET has made it clear...you're not wanted here anymore (Baron's words when he banned you). We all know how you hate to be ignored.
It was amazing to me as a newbie in my first year of day trading. And Eric was kind and humble in replying to a question I had back then. Seems like all the really successful traders on ET have been that way.
not all. I know at least one successful (?) trader here who is not kind or humble. He is all about Price Action and trend trading, very active here and has many followers. But asking him a trading question is like asking Phil Helmuth about poker - can not get a straight answer. That can be very annoying sometimes regardless of the number of bracelets the MASTER has..
I can teach you trading and give you systems all in in one lesson. What you need to understand is that you need capital and the willingness to learn. I believe knowledge is the cheapest and most readily thing you can get. You also need to understand that trading is a zero to negative sum game. I believe that people in this forum are broke. There is no capital. Prop trading firms understand it, and they come to a place like here to raise capital, and the idiots think that provide capital.
