Huh? Please take your ignorance of the business elsewhere. The pros on this board don't appreciated it
Well, we have one here on ET, EricP and I'm sure there are others who've never posted on a trading forum.
A true believer who twists the facts to fit his perception of reality. Sad! But let's say you are right -- the guy can live the rest if his life on a million? Under a bridge, maybe.
He made a million that day. Do you think that's all he made in his years of trading? He stated that last year was really bad...low six figure profit. And a while back he stated in one of his posts that he's set for life financially as a result of his trading. He trades now because he wants to, not because he has to.
Nah, I don't think Bro Surf would've read a description of Genesis as a brokerage and chided me for being ignorant of the business because I stated they don't fund traders. Altie does make me nostalgic for Surf, though.
Let me understand this definition...please correct me if needed. The person must have taken some small amount of money (lets pretend you meant like < 20k)...then traded it into over a million dollars in profits and this private trader is NOW no longer trading because he/she is retired and living well... Or the private trader has taken the +million dollar profits and turned it into something bigger to maintain his/her lifestyle. Is the above correct.
One thing I know works for me on this forum is to fade the stupids. The other thing that works is the hypothesis that trading is a zero to negative sum.
