So we are going to let parents offer thier opinion on whether something offends them and dictate curriculum... I remember in a friend's kid's school a parent lost his shit because the school taght who MLK was to 1st graders. Guy verbally assaulted the teacher after class the next day. Parent was escorted off the campus and kid was kicked out of school (private). These are the fucktards you want deciding if something offends them? yeah.... I see no issues with this approach...
So "Cuddles" or should I say "Here4Money"... or any of your previous aliases... So you still support demeaning and abusing children in the classroom on the basis of race? At this point the Democrats -- except for extreme progressives -- have entirely walked away from defending the use of Critical Race Theory oriented lesson plans in K-12 classrooms. First the Democrats tried to claim that CRT lessons did not occur -- which merely served to outrage parents who showed up with many examples. Then the Democrats attempted to soft-pedal it as not abusive under different names like "equity" -- which also infuriated parents. At this point Democrats are very aware that pushing CRT is an issue which will cause them to lose nearly all the competitive races as outraged non-party affiliated parents who represent a large portion of the independent electorate vote against Democratic candidates in local, state and federal races -- turning 2022 into a disaster for Democrats. Obviously when black parents start showing up in school board meetings to protest CRT in towns where the majority of students are minorities -- then you can be assured that the CRT issue is dead for Democrats. Sadly -- as I mentioned many times before -- the issue of Critical Race Theory lesson plans in the classroom should have been handled by local school boards and education professionals. Instead it has been "promoted" by right-wing activists into a state and national issue. And -- of course -- state legislatures have overstepped by passing legislation which suppresses the appropriate education of all of our history (effectively "white washing it") rather than simply banning lesson plans which abuse & demean children on the basis of race. There are many examples of state level overreach which includes the DeSantis administration in Florida which banned a calculus textbook merely because it mentioned two black mathematicians -- while containing no other material which could be considered "offensive" (well, unless you find calculus equations offensive). At this point CRT is a dead issue for Democrats. You may see some extreme progressives push it. You may see some news editorial & opinion pieces from journalists about it -- but for the core of Democrats it is a toxic issue to touch -- because they have been so obviously burned with their CRT narrative. The only place I see Democrats speaking up regarding "CRT" is at the state level when Republican legislatures overreach on imposing educational restrictions -- but even this is now rare. Simply because Republicans merely need to mention "CRT" in regards to their bill and outraged parents already abused by lesson plans in their local districts will support the Republicans wholeheartedly.
CRT is not being discussed by democrats because it's a non existent issue. Hell, it even appears to have lost some of its luster for repugs that are now perfectly fine w/trashing the education system for their end indoctrination goals. It's basically the same 180 they did on social media & voter influence.
Can't walk away from Harvey the CRT white rabbit, he's always in your head G. Stop watching Fox, stop browsing the Daily (Dirty) Caller and he will hop away.
Anyway @Cuddles is just a name change not a new account. Good thing he didn't use Ted or "Charlie" . Those Charlie The Abusive Teddy guys sue. https://theweek.com/speedreads/449939/seth-macfarlane-being-sued-stealing-ted-premise?amp Had I thought of a name change I could have maybe done that. You get bored. I don't know what happened in the lawsuit but I doubt they won. Charlie the abusive CRT bear @gwb-trading ?
CRT is not being discussed by Democrats because a train being driven by parents and politicians has already rode over them at the state level over the past few months. The entire CRT discussion as entered a new stage -- and Democrats have lost hugely. The entire discussion has moved well beyond the failed Democratic talking point that CRT is a "non existent issue". It obviously is an issue. It's not like there is no proof that CRT is not being taught in school systems. This is an argument that is long lost by Democrats. Over recent months --- A large number of U.S. states have now passed laws against teaching CRT in the classroom. Some of these state laws allow parents to sue the local school system if the violate the state law. Many of the state laws include both CRT and Common Core as banned items -- which in reality are totally separate issues which are not linked. Time for an overview of the current CRT landscape which has changed greatly over the first part of 2022. Let's take a look at a few recent examples in states as reference in regards to where things are at in regards to states and CRT laws: Family sues WCS over alleged Critical Race Theory law violation A family sued the Williamson County School Board Friday, challenging the board’s adoption of a curriculum that the group claims violate Tennessee law prohibiting the teaching of Critical Race Theory and Common Core. https://www.wsmv.com/2022/07/09/family-sues-wcs-over-alleged-critical-race-theory-law-violation/ Oklahoma governor calls for public schools audit for potential mishandling of public funds and teaching CRT https://www.cnn.com/2022/07/08/us/oklahoma-governor-tulsa-schools-audit-crt/index.html Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis’ anti-critical race theory law to take effect https://abcnews.go.com/Politics/florida-gov-ron-desantis-anti-critical-race-theory/story?id=85555497 Freedom from CRT: State bans on critical race theory start in time for July Fourth https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...tate-bans-on-critical-race-theory-july-fourth Additionally across the nation newly voted-in GOP local school board members are removing CRT from the curriculum: Forest Hills meeting ends with resolution against critical race theory https://www.cincinnati.com/story/ne...-critical-race-theory-anti-racism/7697580001/ Kennewick School Board moves to protect children from harmful Critical Race Theory ideology https://www.washingtonpolicy.org/pu...en-from-harmful-critical-race-theory-ideology At this point --- with the support of large numbers of parents -- the CRT issue has become a mute issue with Democrats which they are unwilling to discuss and is in the rear view mirror. Sadly the entire CRT issue has been overblown at the state level -- since Republicans knew they could "score points" with it. In fact -- it is a "no lose" issue for Republicans -- just reference one of the many documented stories about children in the classroom being demeaned & abused on the basis of race -- and it is an instant win. Unfortunately the "state definitions" banned CRT go well beyond "actual CRT" but encompass all diversity education which provides a broad overview of U.S. history. This actually undermines K-12 education across the U.S. -- and in my opinion is very unfortunate. CRT is an issue which should have been handled at the local level by school boards and education administrators --- on the basis of making all children feeling comfortable in the classroom and not having lesson plans instituted which demeaned them on the basis of race. As a side note -- let me state I have written our state representatives in North Carolina multiple times over the past year opposing bills in our NC State Legislature regarding CRT which handcuff educators from providing a full view of U.S. history without somehow triggering penalties in the law and burdening schools systems with compliance tracking including House Bill 234 which Governor Cooper vetoed. Crazy old GWB still using Fox news a "proof". He's crazy you know, not like a Fox though. Its calles a wedge fella, CRT must be real because parents are afraid of it now. Yeah.. Next job opening for a witchfinder you should apply. You and Fox are Trump trying to make a big lie, but he knew he was doing it. Now I have my dinner from El Astor, not been in three years nearly due to the pandemic and I miss the nosh.
