Fury as children as young as seven are to be told they are not 'racially innocent' because they view 'white at the top of the hierarchy' as part of Green-controlled Brighton Council's diversity training for teachers
Republicans Pin National Education Battle to Parents’ Bill of Rights Rep. Julia Letlow's (R., La.) Parents' Bill of Rights was the focus of a Tuesday roundtable discussion among Republican members of the House Education and Labor Committee. The bill, which would pressure schools to be more transparent about curricula and spending, has garnered support in their party. A House GOP aide told the Washington Free Beacon that "most members" of the Republican Study Committee "seemed very supportive of the bill." With 107 cosponsors and support from the largest Republican caucus, the bill could become an integral part of House Republicans' platform after the midterms. The Republican bill would require state departments of education to publish changes to "academic standards." Likewise, the bill would force districts to publicize curriculum standards as well as budget and expenditures. The legislation also promotes parents' First Amendment rights to free speech and assembly, which became an issue last fall after the Justice Department announced the FBI would investigate the acts of some rowdy parents at school board meetings as "domestic terrorism."
Now I k now why GOP is pushing so hard to remove books that mention gay topics...they dont want to face their demons.. A 29-year-old father from Kansas City, Missouri who advocated for the banning of books containing LGBTQ+ material was arrested on charges of child molestation. Ryan Utterback, who has previously spoken out against North Kansas City School District libraries carrying books that included LGBTQ+ content, is facing felony charges of child molestation, misdemeanor domestic assault and furnishing pornographic material to a child.
Interesting article about how a Republican took the only critical race theory class available in Mississippi: https://mississippitoday.org/2022/02/02/mississippi-only-critical-race-theory/
Let me say that Critical Race Theory classes are appropriate at the university level -- as long as people are taking them voluntarily. When you are at the age of a university student you should be emotionally mature enough to take a class where you are made to feel uncomfortable on the basis of race. This is very different then forcing CRT-based lesson plans on K-12 children involuntarily who simply endure these "equity" educational initiatives as a form of bullying and belittling on the basis of race .
Why does CRT class in college make you feel uncomfortable on the basis of race... If you feel uncomfortable when an issue of race is taught in history then you are just a pussy snowflake
