Let's see if Democrats figure out they need to completely stop pushing Critical Race Theory nonsense and quickly change their tune for the 2022 election cycle.
The denial by Democrats that "Critical Race Theory" is being taught in schools in a manner that belittles and demeans children is a the problem. The Democratic talking point "that CRT is just an invention of the right" is getting old -- and to every rational parent (who vote) is obviously false. This problem is going to cost Democrats nearly every competitive race in 2022 unless they quickly change their tune and recognize reality.

let me ask you a question.... what happend for 100 years when black kids were belitttled and demaned repeatedly... I never heard any politician stand up and cry about how teaching white history would belittle and demean Black children in their separate but equal schools... So teaching factual history about our past is demeaning to white kids but we dont give a shit how black kids were treated since the founding of the country..... Cons are using your same argument to protect those poor little white children from simply learning about the Tulsa Massacre or the Japanese Internment because it will hurt whitey feelings. Cons are passing bills eliminating any education on race issues because poor whitey is going to get boo boo. Where was the sympathy and outrage before? Seems only white feelings matter haha
No children of any race should be belittled and demeaned in the classroom based on their race. Do you think singling out black children in the classroom today and telling them they are "the oppressed" does not belittle and demean these children? This is not about teaching our history in full -- it is about using CRT-based techniques in lesson plans which are not appropriate for K-12 students. We need to be teaching about the Tulsa Massacre, Wilmington Insurrection, Japanese Internment, and many other parts of our full history -- most state history curriculums include these events. But we should not be using CRT-based techniques in lesson plans to teach these subjects.
