7 Signs Your Kid Might Be Learning CRT At School We all know that CRT is simply the honest teaching of American history. It's also a niche legal theory that is only taught in college. It's also an arbitrary label that racists use to slander everything they don't like. It's also the only way to make sure your elementary school kids don't grow up thinking slavery is good. Wow! Are you confused? You probably are. Whiteness has that effect on people. We're here to help. So how can you know your kids are being taught CRT in school? Here are the 7 signs: 1) They call your boss to tell how racist you are: If your kid tries to get you canceled because you perpetuate systems of oppressive whiteness by treating all races equally--which is totally racist-- they might be learning CRT. 2) They segregate all their stuffed animals by fur color: Kids who have been taught CRT know the value of creating segregated, decolonized spaces for their stuffies of color to play without white harassment. 3) They come home with purple hair and a 'Kill All Men' tattoo: This look is the standard issue for kids who believe all the tenets of CRT. 4) They try to get out of math homework by telling you math is racist: Well, it is. So why are you making them do it, you racist boomer? 5) They refuse to eat on Taco Tuesday due to cultural appropriation: Literally every white ally of social justice knows that enjoying any aspect of another culture that doesn't belong to your own is racist. Segregate those cultures, Mom and Dad! 6) They ask all their minority classmates to bully them: Are they white? Then they deserve it! 7) They explain over dinner how Marxist ideology is a potent and effective tool for infiltrating all aspects of modern civilization-- including culture, religion, economy, and government-- in order to dismantle the established order and topple the bourgeois: Wow! so true! If your kid exhibits any of these signs, they're on their way! Give them a salute, Comrade! https://babylonbee.com/news/7-signs-your-kid-might-be-learning-crt-at-school

Nikki Haley calls for every governor in America to ban funding for critical race theory in schools Her comments come as school districts garner nationwide scrutiny over CRT initiatives https://www.foxnews.com/politics/ni...n-funding-for-critical-race-theory-in-schools Former U.N. Ambassador Nikki Haley on Monday eviscerated critical race theory, calling for "every governor in the United States" to "ban" the racially charged academic movement. "Think about a 5-year-old that starts kindergarten and they don't know anything about color. If she's White, you're telling her she's bad. If she's Brown or Black, you’re telling her she will never be enough and she's always a victim. That's harmful for the well-being of our children," Haley told "America Reports." Haley's comments come as school districts nationwide have been scrutinized by parents in recent months over CRT-themed topics being taught in some classrooms and CRT seminars being offered to teachers and administrations. The former South Carolina governor argued that teaching critical race theory will have "long-lasting effects" on children. Moreover, Haley asserted critical race theory does not need to be taught to children in kindergarten as it is on the collegiate level. Furthering her point, Haley recalled being "teased" as a kid for being Indian, sharing what her mother’s response was to the situation. "I remember getting teased when I was younger in rural South Carolina and my mom would say, 'Your job is to show them how you're similar and not how you’re different,'" Haley said. Haley doubled down on a tweet she posted last week arguing critical race theory will "hold generations of young people back." She called it harmful to young people and a general hurdle to uniting the country. "Critical race theory is going to hold back generations of young people," Haley wrote on Twitter. "Every governor in the country needs to ban funding for critical race theory. Governors can decide this. They decide what money they take from the Department of Education. Don’t take this money," Haley implored, adding that kids do not need to be judged when they go to school. "They don't need to be told what label they are when they walk in the school. We need to treat kids as the opportunities they’re going to be to fix America, not break them before they start," Haley concluded.
A straw man. There Is No Debate Over Critical Race Theory Pundits and politicians have created their own definition for the term, and then set about attacking it. https://www.google.com/amp/s/amp.theatlantic.com/amp/article/619391/
If you want to know what critical race theory is, see "A guide to critical race theory based on five of the most influential books on critical race theory." and "Fact-checking a popular description of critical race theory that has been broadcasted by many large media outlets over the past month."
I know what it is, the new republican straw man. There are many streams of thought, they have to compete and thus block each other ensuring a healthy randomisation/averaging. The GOP is giving this as much exposure as possible to both boost its popularity with left contrarias (useful idiots, left tip of the horseshoe), make the dragon a little more real and also redefine it as suits their propoganda.
The problem is that this is being done in K-12 schools as well --- CRT education which demeans & belittles students in public is not age-appropriate for K-12 students. I actually support teaching CRT in college courses as long as the course is voluntary and not mandatory --- and the students know what they are getting into when signing up to take the course. This is part of a well-rounded educational college experience --- however the university should also have courses which provide a traditional perspective on social theory (something they regularly fail to do).
