The Wall Street Journal has this explanation... I'm not really buying this one either.

So I'll take it you agree that the article was pinning the tail in a big hurry to make the story about woke not banking deregulation.

I'd be very surprised if fundamentally it is very different to Warren's first take in saying the bank was enabled to "load up on risk" and was not actually acting as a bank bank. The rot is more widespread across banks we are sure to see and will be soon found in straight white greedy bastard banks as well as LGBTQWERTY ones. We won't know until the investigation shows where it went wrong.

I found this possibly informative however this is a time will tell situation. https://robertreich.substack.com/p/the-silicon-valley-bank-debacle

  3. That take by the WSJ is one step away from saying only white men should run banks...

Which begs the question, why is GWB posting sources he "doesn't believe in" until forced to pivot by being called out in a thread meant to reinforce this narrative of "woke corporatism"?

What a bunch of nonsense. No one wants to hear this diversity critical race bull shit. Companies only talk about but not actually implement just to keep blacks quiet and hopeful. In the end, nothing happens.

Go woke, go broke, or not…

As I have been saying, these companies know exactly what they’re doing. Marketing campaigns are highly scrutinized before launching and it is rare a company will launch a campaign thinking that it will undermine profits.

What is it with you and blacks? It is what you always divide down into on the lowest denominator when talking about race. Blacks black black. Innercity thugs. Face it, you are racist.
