They work kitchen jobs, lawn care, hospitality ect. primarily for small businesses and often for other Mexican's.They ain't working for Cisco or GM. And even the one's cleaning rooms for Sheraton wind up out on the street when their visa's expire. Illegals are unemployed at about a 9% rate. In the wake of Arthur Anderson there's not to many publiclly traded corporations willing to roll the dice on whether the DOJ will take them down over illegals. Do you think at the end of the day the Ritz cares whether they pay a maid $4 an hour instead of $7? Fuck no but Pedro's Diner cares about labour cost. Most of the Mexican's you see in high profile jobs are legal. That's the dirty secret of this debate. MOST MEXICAN's ARE LEGAL. There's 42,000,000 Latino's in America. Even if one accepts an 11,000,000 highball figure on illegals it means 3 out of 4 latino's you see are here "legitimately". The horse is so far out of the barn the discussion is non-sensical. And once properly convicted IMO they should be summarily executed. Given the incompetence and gross inefficiency of our federal bureaucracy my guess is that it will cost the taxpayers much more than the $5K fine for the feds to keep up with and collect the payments.
