Credit Cards Lowering Limits

  1. maxpi, I don't see why they would worry about where you make charges with a prepaid card because it's not credit, so it's a totally different ballgame. There is no risk to the bank.

  2. My clients have had their "Business" rev. credit up'd to prime plus one, even though they bring hundred of millions in profit a year, their net worth is up around the mid 10s to 20 mil, own all their buildings out right and have never been late in any payment in 20-30 years.

I spoke to a client friday, he is building on to his plant....and wanted to extend is Rev. Credit.....higher limit as he will have more space for his manufactured goods and needs more Capital Equipment..... he is a S corp, private manufacture. The BANK said they couldn't do it...he told them to go fuck themselfs, shut down the line of credit and decided to fund everything via the profits...and cut his salary in half, (pays him self a few million a year). I bet him 100 bucks that the bank manager or whom ever for the Mulit-national will call him next week and try and get him back....he has his gatekeeper screening calls from the bank just in case.....lol

I would imagine a lot more of my clients will follow the above as the year goes on.

A lot of guys left already left the multi-national banks...Citi, Bac, etc and decided to go with Regional or Local banks. These small banks are reaping the benefits.

The game is changing....BAC, CITI, will still be in the game...but the smart guys are going local.

  3. Has anyone stop to consider the obvious. Approx. 70% of our GDP is consumer spending. Without them there is no economic recovery. The consumer spending is what got most folks into trouble. Diametrically opposed goals.

  5. Maybe not suspicious, but under a socialist health-care plan, one of the 100plus bureaucracies could very easily consider these transactions as non-conformist, possibly even extremist! Oh yes, they are watching.

    Buzzed

That behavior is the best way to raise your credit score.

Good credit deadbeats? Now I think I have heard it all.

BTW: Don't think for a sercond they think the money they get from the merchant fee is not worth their time. 3% of every purchase is HUGE! That is why they are in business. Interest is only icing on the cake.
