LOL. Sorry but I have no more sympathy for you with your false accusations. I felt bad initially for you but now could careless. Heck I didn't even give you instructions to fix your discord install because I don't have time to help others who can't figure out such a simple thing. I only started up a room since I saw a bunch of people yapping and no action. If you look at the previous posts, someone verified the link I have posted is safe. If you insist, ask Baron to confirm if me and trdes IP's are the same since I'm sure he is able to see it on his end. I will bet all my money that it is completely different . And I'm mainly on voice channel while discord is opened, if others are too shy to talk their loss I can't be typing and trading at the same time. Also what is my other alias lol?
All this does not tell why you are a serial discord room opener ?! But you are so right to lol, you got this idiot. But rest assured you won't take it to the paradise.
...You can't create a group of real, professional traders...if there are no actual successful, retail traders If you find a successful trader...you can basically call them a Whale...since they are that rare. You're more likely to succeed in creating a group called Traders Anonymous -- kind of like Alcoholics Anonymous. A group of people being convinced it takes 5-10 years to be guaranteed market success, and blaming PriceDrivers.
I spoke with Octopode in voice, he seems a nice honest lad. Since he is the one who brought it up, I will wait for him to start a "room" in some chat venue. ICQ, Skype, whatever I don't care. So long as it is real-time voice. I am not mic-shy. Maybe that is a reason so many folks do not chat on voice...That "mic-shyness" thing? *shrugs* Still waiting.
It seems we're not gonna get a decent room going. But we're really not looking for a room, just one or two other traders with complimentary styles, approach. Or maybe you want to work with someone with a totally different approach. A room can become a cacophony of voices, many of them blowhards. Don't we want to find that other trader to collaborate with daily, to have a give and take of ideas and perspective? Why not introduce ourselves here? Detail your trading approach (no one's asking you to reveal anything, just the basic method; trending, reversals, daytrade, swing trade, etc), and instruments traded. If 2 users here think they got something in common, let them private chat, to explore things further.
One of the reasons I quit day trading was loneliness. I spent a few years trading and speaking to no one during market hours. I became very unsociable. I stopped in 2010 and to this day, I am still not able to socialize well with others. Anybody experienced this? Loneliness is a serious problem for traders that trade from home all day. The chat idea is nice and I tried a few, but they all die after a while as people are: -busy with their lives -have other priorities -tired of chatting with too many people and people they have never seen. Have you thought about opening an office in your town and inviting traders?
An idea is to franchise out, small boutique, club/hangout, social setting. Kinda like Starbucks, but for Traders. Nice contemporary layout with screens on walls, newsfeed. Multiple comps/loaded with popular platforms, or laptop hookups to bigger screens.
