Wow are you serious? That's unfortunate. It's simply a discord invite link provided by the software. Seems like other users have had no problem. Didn't you mention you were having an error trying to download the desktop app? Maybe you messed up on your end going to a bad website. Please don't point the finger unless you have burden of proof.
Also while I don't mind your frustration with this problem you are having, as I would too.... You were able to register an account through your mobile/ipad/whatever with the picture seen above. There is no need to click on the link again to be in the room. Once you actually install discord through desktop correctly, you just sign in again, and you are automatically in the room that you were able to get on through your phone. I don't know if this is third party image, it could not be cleaned from my computer, and all I did was follow your link and instructions. The internet is full of such complaints.
You posted a link here and the other one in the room when I was wondering if/how I should install it on my desktop. I followed the links and now in a mess. The thing wouln't install nor get deleted. Is that picture from I posted discord or no? Why can't I have it out of my computer?
I've traded with heavenskrow before on several different occasions through the discord app. I also know a lot of other people that use the discord app and I am not aware of any of them getting a virus just by downloading discord(through the official site). If you're speaking of the youtube video, it's following instructions from the official discord website. I explained that it may not fix your problem, but to review it as a starting point to see if it matched the issues you were having. I am sorry you're having a difficult time, but no one else has had these issues. If you're simply saying you cant close discord than try this. Close all discord programs and than do: #1 Type "Control Alt Delete" at same time #2 Click on Task Manager #3 Locate any Discord programs in processes tab and click End task. This should completely close the program for you, than at the point you should be able to uninstall the program per normal.
I am talking about what happened to me following the links provided. Period. And I saw many such cases on the net.
Only the projet manager himself can provide the details you are bringing here, as you proudly come out as the accomplice. If both of you have traded on many occasions, why are you still setting up yet another room, while having a plan to leave in 2 weeks time ? Heck you are the same guy, who sent one link on this thread as heavenskrow, the other link together with the advice to install it on my desktop in the room as trdes, and with yet another alias trying to initiate a lame discussion on the nikkei. All this makes me sick, as I only wanted to help get the ball rolling on a room projet I thought was serious, and now I end up with a computer that needs complete reinstallation.
I have no control if he's leaving in 2 weeks, he set up the room because multiple people we're asking for one so he went ahead and did it. Yes, I've traded with him in the past in another room. The main guy in that room became inactive so most people went there own separate ways. I saw his post here so I decided to join the room just to see what's going on and how it plays out. Not many people are posting and I've seen no one post a trade besides myself. I am not heavenskrow, nor am I what ever other guy/people you're accusing me of being. I have the same ID here as I do there.
