Well, I got my fingers burnt in this room. The discord room idea was a ploy to have this hell of a bug riden mal/spyware called discord to infect computers. I've been fighting to remove it from my computer for the last 3 to four days and it won't go. No longer sure how safe is my computer, as the bug is able to hide from whatever I try to remove it with. Calling on the mods to have all the discord links provided here thouroughly checked and have an eye on the link providers, as I believe their agenda is not a trading room, but to spread malwares. Starting to understand why so many become sacastic and respect nobody here.
I have no dog in this fight...just an FYI: https://virustotal.com/en/url/1ef6f...36000a69d186c41da64e5f9c/analysis/1491738009/
You poisoned my computer with this link, by installing many discord hiding bugs that I can't rid my computer of. Now you must tell me how to get my computer back. Meanwhile, I hold you responsible for all the damage I am suffering.
Not yet, I will try them now, thanks a lot. I tried with the 2 anti virus I have, and the ideas I found on the net from those having had the problems before me, on how to manually delete the files. I no longer have the beast dancing on the screen but I still have a "file not found" java message at the start.
Chat room or communication apps downloaded from 3rd party sites are often used by hackers, folks planting malware and so on. Best to just download the app "directly" from the app designer. Thus, .gg (3rd party) is not the developer of the discord app (an app designed for gamers). Seriously, if there's a questionable link...contact Baron directly via private message or email to complain about the link that was posted because he doesn't read every single message posted at his (this) forum because at the time of my post...that link is still posted here in this thread. In addition, the link is being re-quoted.
Again a proof why you should make complete backups of your system on a regular basis. That would solve this problem immediately. I once received an email from a friend. His account was hacked and I downloaded (thinking my friend did send me this link) malware. It took less than 15 minutes to solve the problem for 100%. Since that day I use a separate PC for my trading. Email, internet and all the rest I do on another PC.
Its too slow eventhough Baron and Magna are both logged in right now at the time of this message post. Yet, they both could be busy dealing with other things. Something serious needs a "direct complaint" via private message to Baron (ET owner) or a direct message to a moderator or email to Baron. Regardless, don't re-quote the message you suspect as malware because it'll keep the message as the most recent...making it more likely to be clicked on.
