So you want to play? If I were a real professional trader I would not be talking about "win rate" I might be a little more interested in my 'r' rate. Pull your head in. You seem to be preoccupied with masterbation but I don't want to watch. If YOU were a 'real professional trader' you would not have the time to waste trying to bait me.
Because we take care of our own. (At least the ones we care for.) We are going to mind your business if you try to pick on a long-term member who has a long history of constructive posting, and defend him/her. On the other side of the coin, I think you would be a good addition to a chat-group that Octo has in mind. But realize this...Try to not mess with the established members here. Like any community, each member learns what the others are all about, and that is how the community grows and matures. When it comes to me, if I feel an unfair attack is happening, I will defend that member of the community to my last I-teeth.
I think this thread is useless. First of all: who will decide who is a professional and who is not? And second: on ET everybody thinks he is a professional. This thread will be over crowded.
I have not asked you or any other members to provide bona fides. Nor would I ... it is none of my business. Nor yours for that matter.
This idea just pop up in my mind for OP to give it a try. Maybe it's a dumb idea. Let's assume that everyone invited on the list is a pro trader and we trade the same assets. There are two levels of test that we need to pass in order to filter out liars. For the first round, each trader (in alphabetical order that is corresponding to their nickname on ET) must makes 5 consecutive live calls with entry and exit. Each wining trade will earn a point, while a losing trade with a stop loss within 3% will earn half of a point. We repeat the same test for the 2nd round. After this round, in my standard pro traders must earn at least 7-point in order to stay on the list to trade together. By the way for each round, you must show that your 5 consecutive trades were done by using your real account, not on sim. Nobody has to follow anyone else to trade. It's just that by making a live call among pros, you will be more careful as said by Pekelo somewhere along this thread????
Let's just make it a site, or purpose, of showing off (or posting) your broker statements Doesn't have to be the complete, thorough, thing -- but just your returns, or % returns: starting balance, and ending balance...for each day/week/month intervals. The bottom line, basically. -- because that's the only thing that matters; everything else is just noise and conversation...and nonsense. I personally hate talk and conversation and explanations -- I just want to see the bottom line performance returns of an individual either expressed in a % amount and/or dollar amount of their account. This is 'elite'Trader afterall...not eliteconservativeinvestor.com We shouldn't be so shy or coy or modest about returns or performance -- for better or for worse. I don't want to sound like everyone should be gun-slinging crazy cowboys traders/gamblers, but in kind of a way...yes, they should
Wrong way to look at it. You have to just LISTEN to people. That is the benefit of voice-chat. LISTEN!
