Crazy person starting crazy threads

  1. you are one of the most deluded trolls in the history of Trolldom and Sociopathology.

It is amazing how you continue to demonstrate your idiocy and bathing in the glory of your own lunacy.

Apparently, the concepts of community, reasonableness, fair play, give-and-take among fellow traders, intelligence, purpose and many other things are antonyms for you. As long as you can continue to prove your uselessness, you are happy.

You are the founding member of "gee, if my parents knew what I had become, they would have cut their own throats."

On a scale of 1 to 10, you are a negative with a rather large exponent. You would have to reach up to scrape the bottom of the barrel.

And all these things are your good points. And of course, there must be a lot of good in you, because none of it ever escapes.

    Welcome, Unabomber protege.

  2. I don't tell people how to trade, you lunatic. I move posts that are not related to trading, and I do so fairly and equally. It doesn't require me to be a day trader in stocks (remember, I do trade forex) just to be able to say that a post with the entire content as:

"I am smarter than all of you and you are all insects"

    is NOT related to trading.

If I did not move these chit chat topics into chit chat, the Trading forum would be a disaster. Most people here for the trading aspect of EliteTrader get this. You, stock_trad3r and the 50 aliases of Port1385 are the only ones whining about it. What does that tell you?

And you make it seem like such a crusade you're on, but yet your response to having your crap moved to chit-chat is to post pics of gay sex in the announcement forum, or to discuss child pornography. Can't you see how disturbed you are? The rest of us do.

I, for one, would be into paying for the service to at least partially weed out the wackos and other wasters of time and space. Even something like $10 per year would keep 80% of them out.
As the site loses credibility and with that, REAL traders, if I were one of the sponsors, I would find somewhere else to spend my advertising funds. After that, it may be too late as most of the worthwhile posters may have disappeared and with that, too few will be willing to pay even that $10.

  4. all it needs, is a charge of 2 cents to a credit card or paypal or bank account debit or anything else. or again, nonfree IPs. Once you are minimally verified, you cannot hide beyond drive-by anonymity.

this site's verification process went out with the hand cranked Ford Model T. We are bathed in people with 6 posts who "want to know about unknown futures advisory website XYZ.com and if anyone has "used it." Or cold - 50-alias "I hate mods and I iz stupid." Or shills. Or the abusive (a few people have actually reported threats of various kinds). Or now very unreliable rating functionality. Or people who are are allowed to spam (like MarketSurfer and others) because they happen to generate "views."

I like this site. But someday, I keep hoping they want to become a serious, respected business, and lose the 3-ring, flea-circus and sideshow it sometimes becomes.

They want to get new viewers, but chase off a lot of people and good traders who are seeking a professional environment.

  5. This site is a reflection of its owner.
    Pure and simple.

I am a relatively new poster so believe newbies should be able to post a thread inquiring about good websites, as long as they have something to do with trading. Regarding those that promote folks, systems, brokers, software, etc., it may be true that they actually believe what they are posting, enthusiastically sharing their helpful sliver of info in the most altruistic fashion(yes, kind of rare in this industry). Then again, they may be shills or have some other purely selfish motivation, who knows? Abuse is to be expected in the politics & religion forum but the too often lambasting of someone trying to lend some helpful information on a strategy thread will eventually drive anyone with anything worthwhile to say back to their close knit trading chat group, firm's remote chatroom or wherever, away from ET.

So, any trader should be able to afford $10 per year and should limit the multi aliases (AOL can have multiple screennames). Just one scrap of good info on here should be able to save/make at least 10 times that amount, if not much more.
Then again, the would be trader could latch onto the rantings of one of the more deranged charlatans on here and blow up in a week:eek:

  7. When you are here long enough, you will notice that the vast majority of newbies who ask about a system/site, or "post in support/favor of it" or otherwse continue to push it into the public eye

    are Spammers.

And usually, it is a site that almost no one has ever hear of.

I have said repeatedly that people with under 100 posts should be prevented from posting real or camoflauged links (like XYA dot COM)

Without a doubt, you have been involved in this site far more deeply than me so I imagine you may be right. I guess it is just another side effect of the ease of creating multiple usernames so yeh, either the 100 post rule (which I am not a fan of, for obvious reasons) or taking a credit card and/or charging a nominal fee.

However, neither you nor I have control of such things but if you keep posting such and get enough support...YES WE CAN:p

  9. As long as they think they can get free links, they will keep trying. That is one reason some blogs prevent or screen replies. There are many people in 3rd world countries who are paid small amounts to try and get websites in front of public eyes or onto link pages, anyway they can.

But if they have to get up to 100 posts or they are no longer anonymous, it takes a lot more energy and will likely deter many.

  10. Until you are removed as moderator, I will continue my attacks on this website with my bots. Its easy for me to create programs and I can unleash an attack in seconds.

Baron, You have two choices. Remove Ivanovich or put up with my relentless attacks. You can defend and stand behind Ivanovich, but you are going to spend a lot of time and anguish in doing so. Its your call.

Many people have complained about Ivanovich to no end. You can count on my continued attacks and this website and its users (and Baron/Joe) will have to suffer in the meantime.

    Say Thank you Ivanovich.
