You're missing the big picture here, Islam is a dangerous religion. The religion is the motive and it's our biggest international threat we have. So if or if not boxing has anything to do with the guys thinking ability doesn't matter, Islam is bad.
OK Comrade, real slow like. They are radical Islamists. Their motive is hate. Hate of everything that is different from that of Islamic teaching, or at least thier interpetation of it. Their method for resolving that issue is killing. It's not anymore complicated than that.
Exactly, they don't do shit to stop it. When crazy Christians blow up an abortion clinic or murder someone because god told them to do it, the vast majority of Christians are vocally against these people, you don't see that with muslims because it's a bad evil religion.
Good thing he was a boxer and was therefore brain-damaged. Otherwise, they might have had to come up with "a tick bit him and gave him Lyme's disease" (or some other equally plausible excuse) to explain his bombing of innocents.
But you yourself have just accepted a more nuanced understanding, that of the difference between ordinary Muslims and radical Muslims. That's all the media is doing, it's digging deeper into motive. I would think righties, who so love the character centered approach to understanding behavior (as opposed to, e.g., a structural approach), would welcome efforts to identify all personality attributes which may contribute to an act. On the other hand, you guys do love your "black and white" answers.
To some degree, but you guys on the left love your excuses. Somebody bumped their head, mommy didn't love them, they were bullied, on and on it goes. Just seems you guys can't ever admit there's an army of crazy hate filled fucks out there who kill for the thrill, and any old excuse will do.
