  1. Huh, I wonder if the ICE exchange infiltrated the NASD system, and decided to take it for a 'test-drive'?

I was a buyer every $10 below $390 and according to IB I still have those trades.

    Fingers crossed :)

20 mins to the market opens and IB still have my GOOG shares bought yesterday below 390.

Surely they must have sorted this problem out by now, if indeed there was a problem.......

  7. better document everything, including whether or not the trades fall within the time and price window where and when trades were busted.

take screenshots of IB acct and position data that includes dates and times, etc.

you may also wish to speak with a management person at IB that can and does assure you of the status.

the last thing you want is selling and possibly creating an unintended short position.

    verify verify verify.

    edit:
ps, for that matter, you may also not want a long that may drop in price below your purchase!

Its almost certainly just a delay on ib's part. Have you called up IB to ask about the busts?

    DON'T close out that position.

    Yep, thanks guys.

I'm not bothering to call IB as they're long term trades, not looking to flip them.

If they stay then great, if not then no money lost. Same orders get put back in, every $10 below $400 all the way down to my eventual stop at $2.50 :)
