Sending millions of European and American Jews to the Middle East to take land from people who had lived there for centuries was never on my agenda. But I am willing to accept the State of Israel as a fait accompli, provided that 1. I don't have to subsidize it with my tax dollars. Advocates of Zionism are free to send their own money. 2. We don't send Americans to fight their wars. Advocates of Middle Eastern wars are free to join the IDF. My opposition to AIPAC is because AIPAC insists upon both (1) and (2). As for status, you are right once again, there are many many levels to the steps of knowledge and understanding. Glad to be wrong about poking fun, sorry for jumping the gun. I read more than a few passages, it took a long time and a lot of thinking and reading related stuff and other conversations. I think outside the box a little but I'm certainly not that smart, no genius. I don't see why anyone couldn't gain as much as I have from it. It's just a matter of looking at contradictory info and figuring stuff out. I don't know everything, but I know more now than I did before.
