Competition, survival of the fittest has a lot to do with it. These are all choices under our control. Without these concepts, the natural human reaction is to be nice to each other, supportive, etc. War is not in human nature, it's in the nature of 0.1% which manipulate the masses. They use various tools to do so. Religion is one of them. These people don't care about the tool, they will use any tool. It's all about the end, not the means. They don't understand the concept of the means being the ends. Bah. Like someone else said, I'm not sure the atheists can keep up!

I don't understand how you can say these things based on my posts. What I said was, 99% of people who criticize scripture have never read much or most of it. Everything is always taken out of context. I said I used to do this until I read parts of it for myself, had conversations with articulate people, investigated both sides objective, and read other related info. I said this showed my how I was wrong in the past. I said this almost verbatim. See how you are twisting my words? Making them out to be very very different from what was actually said? Without twisting them, I don't think you have anything to complain about. I am not displaying a "I'm right you are wrong attitude" because I am clearly admitting I may be wrong. This is my interpretation, here is my evidence and if you have any contrary evidence that isn't out of context and shows mine to be incorrect I would LOVE to change my mind. I have said many times I have no interested in being wrong, please just show me where I'm mistaken. No offense, but I dare you to prove anything you actually just said. Now that being said, I would also love to share any wisdom I may have and equally receive that of other articulate people.
