  1. while i think the YM will be a -2% minimum, i think the global slowdown commodity selloff will be a HUGE percentage winner.

Yes, nice going there! I make very few trades based on what i think the market will do tomorrow or the next day (with the possible exception of Thursday before expiry before 10am) because i am not very good at guessing what the market will do in the near future more than an hour or two out, but i do admire those who are..

  7. <i>"I shorted 5,000 x 14k Oct YM mini call options for this Friday. Risk free $$$."

"Thanks for the heads up, I will buy 20k x 1500 ES put options expiring Friday today. It's great to know they're giving away risk free $$$ in the markets!"

"The bulls are going to get their balls ripped off today. I see a -1000 day for the Dow..."</i>

Nice trading, bro! About time you played both sides of the tape here. That sucker's rally (i.e. those who think the Fed can keep cutting rates to -5.00 by this time next year) thought Bernanke might be hinting no mas for Halloween.

Wonder how markets will react if announcement is "no change in rates, still on inflation alert" from the Fed? Got a glimpse of that yesterday.

  8. There will be another rate cut going into the election year courtesy of Uncle Ben, Wall Street and your favorite politician ( only a fool would think the Fed is independent of politics). This in turn means US equities have, at the very minimum, another 10% move higher.

BTW, props to the OP. Good call on the correction.
