Cranking up the heat

  1. I, like many people here have been following some journals where some guys are playing with a lot of leverage...::cough::cough:: :) , and I want to see if I can trade larger side as well. I'll be upfront and say that I'm kinda jelious of the returns these guys have made (and gasp at the losses). As it is now, I use only 3% of my CASH account, but i'm thinking about possibily cranking this up a bit :) ...to, oh maybe 5 to 6.5% per trade of my cash. I'm tired of small potatoes, and I believe I can do this.

    Here is why:

    1. Greed...........I gotta be honest, right
    2. If I'm confidant a trade will work, should that justify trading bigger?..I think so, especially the more experience the trader has, however I have never considered this until now. >>>SIDE NOTE <<< On one of the series of wallstreet warriors, the OJ trader, i forget his name said "Either I'm going to make a killing, or I'm going to get carried out of here in a strecher"..I take this to mean, that he's trading bigger than normal.

I dont ever average down, and I'm fairly good about cutting losers.
