Crames says someone tipped off discount rate cut....

  1. Why does it all have to be the leak?
I bought LEH calls on Wed morning purely based on the selloff being overdone. At some point, all the bad news is priced in. That's what the market does.
I had to bite my nails hard for about an hour on Thursday, but after that it was party time.
I had looked at the open interest and figured LEH would probably go out Friday afternoon close to 60. Actual close was 58.11. I'll take it.
I'm sure similar things were happening in the other financials.

Reason it has to be a "leak":

People who post on ETr do not listen to CNBC....constantly bashing....constantly critiquing everyone....

CNBC had MANY interviews with traders, analyst etc etc and what the various steps that could be taken by Fed or others...

Smart traders positioned themselves for those various possibilities.....

Ignorance is a nice crutch.....better to believe "leaks", "insiders" than to actually use your brain....

    Just silly and inmature babbling....
