Since we're sounding off on the guy, let me jump in. In my opinion, he has no class. I try and compare him to PTJ, Schwarts, Soros or Julian Robertson and simply can't. Did he make money? Sure! It was a bull market, he was plugged into both the media and the analysts. If you remember, he railed against FD and Levitt. Why? Because it killed the only edge he had. As well, it wasn't just him. He had a lot of smart people around him that stopped him from self destructing repeatedly. One was his wife (the trading Goddess as he calls her), another was his partner and his head trader (now at minyanville). The guy doesn't have an off switch. He doesn't have class. He doesn't listen, care, empathise or worry about anyone else except himself. Not a role model for me at all. In fact, he is the anti-thesis of one.
