Cramer Brings Down Merck

  1. From the Wall Street Journal:

In the Vioxx trial, jurors connected to Mr. Lanier. At one point, he compared atherosclerosis, or hardening of the arteries, to a tarp holding a load of garbage onto a pickup truck. Derrick Chizer, a 43-year-old service representative for Social Security on the jury, complained that Merck lawyers and witnesses tossed around medical terms without explaining them, but he said, "Mr. Lanier broke all the medical words down, he explained each one of those words."

Man, it's getting harder and harder to feel sorry for these Red State suckers. :D

  2. The stock doesn't make any money. It has been a long term dog.

  3. 5 billion is not "any money". You must be making a trillion a year to say stupid sh*t like that. Hear hear, we have a true super trader here on ET.

Well, if you ever read his book (which is worthless as a trading book IMO) he tells how he didn't study and had a low gpa..During classes he studied charts..He watched FNN most of the day. And of course MRK will go whenever it wants to go, even it could climb a wall of worry.
    Just my opinion..

  5. Take a look at the CNBC video of the interview with the jurors. It's on wsj.com and maybe elsewhere.

Several were asked about the caution label.

One juror: "We realized it was strategically put in certain areas, and if you didn't look in those areas you wasn't gonna find the caution label."

Another juror: "You wouldn't understand what they're talkin' about, neither."

  6. You trade stock you fool not a company's books. The "STOCK" , you know, the thing you trade to make money, has been a dog and you are just mad because you are hoping for a move that is not going to happen so you feel comfortable quoting crap about books because that is all you can lean on at this point.
What are you going to tell me something about their pipeline next or sales or patents , bla bla bla. Keep smoking, you will do fine as a trader.
