(01:33:30 AM) *****: Correct (01:33:44 AM) *****: TV is going to display the more traditional way of how the tick size is displayed (01:34:05 AM) Justin: Ok, it sounds to me MT5 is crap (01:34:06 AM) *****: where with MT5 because traditionally forex platform it displays its differently (01:34:16 AM) *****: not so much that its just a different platform (01:34:24 AM) *****: not traditionally a futures platform (01:34:34 AM) *****: Try the test for me if you can (01:34:38 AM) *****: with the USAM8 (01:34:43 AM) *****: let me know if you see the same thing. (01:34:51 AM) Justin: Ok, that's enough. I will use TV. (01:34:59 AM) Justin: Thank your time anyway. (01:35:01 AM) *****: just for me if you can test (01:35:04 AM) *****: just so i know (01:35:05 AM) *****: for myself (01:35:11 AM) Justin: Sure, have a good day (01:35:12 AM) *****: so i can report to MT5 (01:35:13 AM) Justin: Bye (01:35:17 AM) *****: can you test first before you leave? (01:35:19 AM) *****: and tell me now (01:35:20 AM) *****: so i know (01:35:24 AM) *****: so i can send a report to MT5 (01:35:30 AM) Justin: No, that's ok. (01:35:33 AM) *****: just pull up both symbols on both platforms (01:35:36 AM) *****: and let me know if you see the same thing (01:35:45 AM) Justin: Metaquote is hopeless crap company (01:35:49 AM) Justin: I don't care (01:36:05 AM) *****: ok no problem (01:36:07 AM) *****: Have a good day. (01:36:08 AM) Justin: Bye (01:37:23 AM) *****: Just for reference so you know i figured it out (01:37:37 AM) *****: TV shows the fractional value and MT5 shows the decimal value of the tick size (01:37:41 AM) *****: that is the difference
It isn't a datafeed problem. It's a silly kinniget problem. The exchange defines the instrument. So define your instrument as the exchange defines it. There is a reason any reasonable platform allows you to adjust those parameters.
Only CQG chart is different from others. Am I being too picky? I'd like to avoid CQG charts at all.... See Gold 60M charts from various sources and comment from CQG team. <AMP Futures' TradingView with CQG feed> <Thinkorswim Demo> <Investing.com> <Barchart.com> <email reply from CQG>
