Did you try running virus scan in safe mode with system restore turned off ? If you do not turn restore off the trojan remains in the restore files and will keep coming back. Yoo need to run viruscan, spybot and ad aware all while it is in safe mode with the system restore turned off. By running in safe mode many of the trojans do not get loaded like on normal startup and are easier to find.
Volente, no yet. I'm finishing up a bunch more scans and then I'll do that. But I'm not sure I know how to do it.
I had a problem like that where the progrma would freeze. Everybody blamed the other guy. I got an extra Internet provider, added a computer......Scans, the works. The answer was, the program was corrupted. After denying it, they finally created a new application for me. That solved it.
All this waste of energy and time could have been avoided. All you have to do is make images on a regular basis. In that case the problem would already have been solved for 100% 10 minutes after the problem occured. And at least you would have been for 100% sure that the virus was completely removed.
Try going here http://www.microsoft.com/technet/sysinternals/default.mspx Click on Processes and Threads, then Process Explorer. That should tell you much more than Task Manager. Don-
