    Volente, here are the specs:

    CPU: INTEL 4 EXTREME EDITION WITH ht TECNOLOGY AND DUAL CORE PROCESSING

    MEMORY: 533- AND 667MHZ SDRAM

    I HAVE 1GB AT THE MOMENT. I BELIEVE MAX OF 8GB

    What speed is cpu ? I am assuming above 2.8 since it is a HT

    Did you try running disk clean uo, scan disk, defragmenting the hard drive, turning system restore off and then booting in safe mode and running virus scan, spy bot, and ad aware ? I've seen 100% cpu problems when the hard drive was highly fragmented. Alos how full is you hard drive ? If it gets to full it will cause problems as well with cpu usage.
