South Florida Sun-Sentinel: “Election season is far off, but Gov. Ron DeSantis has been in full-blown campaign mode, crisscrossing the state almost every day in the past week, touting monoclonal antibody treatments for people infected with COVID-19, defending his handling of the pandemic, and excoriating anyone who disagrees with his approach.”

    Why isn't he promoting IVM?

Those in this thread that are shilling for Ivermectin have refused to answer those questions.

The answer may lie in the state of Mississippi (one of the poorest states in the United States of America) that has a tiny percentage of its residences using Ivermectin in ways too shocking to read about...

Be careful, those promoting Ivermectin will try the "don't you want to save lives" ???

Yet, I don't think they realize that North America has its own approved antiviral therapeutic treatments for Covid.

They then tried the "I'm going to find personal dirt on you from other members that don't like your politics".

Yet, they don't realize these are members that many here refuse to share a damn thing with them about trading and members that we have called them out for the bullshit attacks in which the forum owner responded by closing their bullshit personal attack threads...threads started by people that are not Americans.

The problem I think is that someone out there is not happy with North American approved antiviral therapeutic treatments...treatments that do not include Ivermectin and we have had some very famous politicians / celebrities / athletes all take one of those approved antiviral therapeutic treatments last year, and early this year.
    • I have seen maybe 1 - 2 U.S. politicians mention Ivermectin but they were immediately shut down by their constituents and then by the FDA because we have free approved antiviral drug treatments that these idiotic congressmen were not aware about...Congressman Ron Johnson of Wisconsin.
By the way, these approved antiviral drug treatments were not promoted last year under the Trump administration and they were viewed as something the normal American could not afford.

That all changed under the Biden administration. They are now free and being promoted...in my opinion...its pissed off some of those that didn't see their drug treatment get approval nor included as one of the recommended antiviral drug treatments.
    • In a way, the political bullshit is still here in the vaccines and antiviral therapeutic treatments.
I get it, there are 3rd World Countries or poor countries that are very vaccine-hesitant and rightful so because of their historical problems with vaccines. Thus, they're relying very heavily on cheap antiviral therapeutic drugs because countries like the United States are only freely sharing their vaccines but not their approved antiviral therapeutic drug treatments.

I have close friends and family in other countries, they wonder why BIG PHARMA does not freely share these approved antiviral therapeutic treatments for Covid. I can't answer that but a good guess is it has something to do with money / costs and authorization from their personal Doctor.

That brings me to another issue via the latter above. Ivermectin is cheap (very cheap) but it's not free whereas other North American antiviral therapeutic treatments are free which is why those that don't know the U.S. antiviral drug treatments are free (requires a prescription or doctor to administer) in contrast Ivermectin is being used like some banned narcotic by poor people.

  4. Does the FDA think these data justify the first full approval of a covid-19 vaccine?

Waning efficacy has the potential to be far more than a minor inconvenience; it can dramatically change the risk-benefit calculus. And whatever its cause—intrinsic properties of the vaccine, the circulation of new variants, some combination of the two, or something else—the bottom line is that vaccines need to be effective.

Until new clinical trials demonstrate that boosters increase efficacy above 50%, without increasing serious adverse events, it is unclear whether the 2-dose series would even meet the FDA’s approval standard at six or nine months.

    Know Your Japan Ivermectin Facts

In Japan, the Kitasato Institute has been conducting a clinical trial since last September, targeting coronavirus patients with mild to moderate symptoms, with blood oxygen levels of 95 percent of more.

In the US, the National Institutes of Health warned in February that ivermectin is not approved for the treatment of any viral infection.
    • It said it was impossible to draw definitive conclusions on the clinical efficacy of the drug for COVID-19 treatment. The reasons it cited included the limited sample size of studies, the lack of clarity on the severity of COVID-19 in study participants, and other incomplete information.
    • Ivermectin's US manufacturer Merck also said in February that there was "no scientific basis" for the drug's potential therapeutic effect against COVID-19...
    • Japan's health ministry's COVID-19 treatment guidelines revised in July places ivermectin in a category of drugs whose efficacy and safety have not been established.
The guidelines refer to reports that the drug does not improve mortality, shorten hospitalization or hasten the reduction of viral loads in patients with mild symptoms.

Liver disorders are among the drug's possible side effects. The manufacturer (Merck) also said it was unclear whether the product could be safely used among elderly people or pregnant women.
