Not worth debating in my opinion. The graph posted by elderado does not represent Ivermectin use. Instead, it represents New Cases and Deaths with a 7 day green line. Therefore, the author is assuming its due to the use of Ivermectin even though he gives no verification of Ivermectin use let alone widespread use with statistics for correlation to the declining numbers shown in that graph. There's an article by the BBC that explains why Delhi dropped...it was due to strict restrictions very similar to what Japan did in 2020 for a while and Sweden did in 2021...both countries do not nor widespread use of Ivermectin nor do they mention Ivermectin. https://www.bbc.com/news/world-asia-india-53428145 In contrast, I did find more up-to-date statistics in comparison to elderado chart that ended in May. Thus, should one assumed the rising cases in June and July cases that peaked when the strict restrictions went into place... Should we assume they stopped using Ivermectin ? In addition, India has dramatically increased their Covid testing, contact tracing, and education (communication) to its people during the strict restrictions. They in fact were going door to door in doing testing and they got a ton of help from many countries since late June. Another issue that I raised in my reply earlier to elderado...those strict restrictions has recently been removed / lifted. From this point on, based upon that author about Ivermectin...we should see the numbers continue to drop without the help of strict restrictions...correct ? wrbtrader
A New Study Shows, Again, That Hydroxychloroquine Works https://townhall.com/tipsheet/katiepavlich/2021/06/09/hydroxychloroquine-study-n2590700 A new study published by medRxiv shows hydroxychloroquine, combined with zinc, increased the survival rate of severely ill Wuhan coronavirus patients by 200 percent. "This observational study looked at 255 COVID19 patients who required invasive mechanical ventilation (IMV) during the first two months of the US pandemic. Through comprehensive, longitudinal evaluation and new consideration of all the data, we were able to better describe and understand factors affecting outcome after intubation," the study finding state. "By considering more factors and using new methods, we found that when increased doses of co-administered HCQ and AZM were associated with >100% increase in survival. Comparison of absolute with weight-adjusted cumulative doses proves administration =80 mg/kg of HCQ with > 1 gm AZM increases survival in IMV-requiring Covid patients by over 100%."
Read your first link... there is no science there... its just typed words... no content other than guidelines.... your stories say... the evidence is lacking... which can be true depending on what you consider evidence.. which is why i asked for evidence. That is not debunking are you really that stupid?
It's sad that you don't acceptable reliable mainstream sources backed by science, outlining statements from the WHO, CDC, etc. plus respected researchers providing data. Let's review once again what the manufacturer of Ivermectin, Merck, has stated about using Ivermectin to treat COVID. Merck Statement on Ivermectin use During the COVID-19 Pandemic https://www.merck.com/news/merck-statement-on-ivermectin-use-during-the-covid-19-pandemic/ KENILWORTH, N.J., Feb. 4, 2021 – Merck (NYSE: MRK), known as MSD outside the United States and Canada, today affirmed its position regarding use of ivermectin during the COVID-19 pandemic. Company scientists continue to carefully examine the findings of all available and emerging studies of ivermectin for the treatment of COVID-19 for evidence of efficacy and safety. It is important to note that, to-date, our analysis has identified: No scientific basis for a potential therapeutic effect against COVID-19 from pre-clinical studies; No meaningful evidence for clinical activity or clinical efficacy in patients with COVID-19 disease, and; A concerning lack of safety data in the majority of studies. We do not believe that the data available support the safety and efficacy of ivermectin beyond the doses and populations indicated in the regulatory agency-approved prescribing information.
Data and science is what critical thinking and useful analysis require...you are a lying moron because you promote the narrative as if politicians don't lie. A simple thought for you... that article is from feb.. The results in those graphs happened after that. That is new data moron.
The states you posted were not even taking Ivermectin. Only a few states in India are taking Ivermectin and they are doing very good. Bihar and Uttar Pradesh are the 2 states that rely on Ivermectin heavily. Bihar's population = 124 Million Uttar Pradesh's Population = 228 Million
I do not know which part of India is using Ivermectin nor do I know if Delhi is using Ivermectin. So far, unless I missed the message post...not a single person has posted a graph or data about the use of Ivermectin and dates for correlation to the Covid infections, hospitalizations and deaths. It's just the author of the article assuming the drop in Dehli is due to Ivermectin without any verification data of the use of Ivermecting. Thus, if you refer back to my question to elderado that posted the graph of declining new cases and declining new deaths... How do we know who is using Ivermectin and what's the relationship to the strict restrictions, the door-to-door Covid testing, contact tracing, dramatically improving hospital care, and Covid education...how is that impacting those numbers considering it begins about the time when the declines started ? Another question I have now is...is it the hospitals that are distributing Ivermectin and if so...they should have data about that distribution to their patients versus other medical treatments they've used on their patients...correct ??? He has not replied and hopefully, he does reply or someone else can post the info even if its data from one hospital only. P.S. India (the hardest Covid hit areas) has been receiving a lot of medical assistance (Oxygen tanks, beds, ventilators, medical supplies, medical personnel) for about 2 months now especially in Delhi, India. https://www.voanews.com/covid-19-pa...itical-medical-supplies-covid-infection-rates https://globalnews.ca/news/7836207/canada-medical-supplies-india/ wrbtrader
In other words, you do not have data nor verification if the hospitals were distributing Ivermectin to their patients instead of using another medical treatment. You guys can post the data at a later date when you find it. Unfortunately, the only person I know in Delhi, India has died a few months ago from Covid...a roommate of 2 years of mine in college. His body was burned (incinerated) wrbtrader
You do realize that Bihar and UP were both in complete lockdowns until mid-June. In mid-June restrictions were lifted only slightly. Everyone needs to realize the Bihar and UP were in complete 24 hour per day / 7 days per week lockdown. Of course COVID cases dropped during this very restrictive lockdown. They are still effectively under significant curfews and restrictions. Bihar lifted the complete lockdown in mid-June but still kept a nightly curfew from 7 pm and 5 am in place. Also government and private offices in Bihar were allowed to open with 50% attendance till 4 pm. Shops could remain open till 5 pm. Also private vehicles to ply on the road and said that online classes can also operate. In UP from the June announcement - “There will be relaxation in coronavirus curfew in all the districts of the state from Wednesday onwards, from 7 am to 7 pm, for five days as the active Covid cases have come below 600,” an official state government spokesperson said. However, the night curfew between 7 pm and 7 am and weekend curfew throughout the day will continue, the spokesperson added. Ivermectin which according the manufacturer, Merck, is completely ineffective in treating COVID -- had nothing to do with the declining cases in Bihar and UP. Coronavirus: Bihar, UP lift restrictions, Madhya Pradesh extends curfew till June 15 Bihar and Uttar Pradesh said that Covid-19 cases were declining in the states. https://scroll.in/latest/996993/cor...ns-madhya-pradesh-extends-curfew-till-june-15
