Look, you get people who act like the virus is no big deal (and I'm not saying it is) and put them all together and suddenly they get the virus. Its not like we need Scotland Yard.

If you don't test, you won't find cases

I do not have a verifiable source to link, but I cannot fathom the President and those around him do not have some type Covid-19 prevention and protective barriers around them. Some one broke protocol.

I am going to take the other side of this.
    I am giving an opinion...here.

This virus is obviously quite infectious if you get within droplet range of a sick person.
The problem for the White house staff is that they probably were testing most if not everyone. So few working in the White House had been exposed to Covid and had a chance to acquire antibodies or had T cell type immunities built up. .

So when you place people without antibodies or other immunities in close contact with a Covid sick person... you are likely to get a lot of covid positives.

For further understanding look at the charts around the world right now. Look at how many places had serious virus spikes after they came out of shutdown... Then it peaks. The slope of the graphs are the same in almost every place. Its quite contagious at first but then the population starts building significant antibodies 8 to 12 weeks after opening.

  6. Trump’s cognitive ability and demeanor as shown by the debates may indicate that Trump was ill with Covid earlier or that he was subjected to another kind of attack, such as lead or mercury based poisoning. This kind of attack is plausible because Trump does not seem as sharp, has lots of enemies worldwide, including some with advanced capabilities, and so many prominent Republicans seem outright stupid. Then again, the same could be said for certain Democrats.

It may be appropriate to offer or strongly advise testing to prominent politicians for prepardness reasons.

I'm sure someone broke protocol. Why do people in schools get COVID? Why do people at rallies get COVID? At protests? At the grocery store?

    Because viruses are contagious.

Instead of going crazy about whether it was a planned attack or protocols were broken, we should just be asking...so they got COVID? So what? Most, if not all, will be just fine.

Test are imperfect and it just takes one superspreader individual, about 1/10 are and a poorly managed event or still wind, the thing for the supreme court on the lawn is a nexus here.

No spacing, you could count the masks on your fingers.

  10. Are you saying that everyone in the White House gets a long qtip jabbed up their nose daily and is tested?

Because I have never heard that to be the case.

As for why is it a big deal.....I can make a list of people in their 70s who are obese who got it and died.

    Who else fits that profile...
