So who was President when the government “intentionally burnt your house down”? Oh it was Donald Trump. Remember to thank your dear leader.

  2. In conjunction with multiple governors and mayors around the country, all ruling by decree. It was a team effort, both teams. In fact it's still going on in many states and cities

This is rather disingenuous of you. Not that I'm surprised, mind you.

The "Burn the house down", I assume CO was speaking of COVID. Trump did not create the virus. Trump did not put all the restrictions on people and businesses, in fact, the criticism was that he wasn't restrictive enough. For those that he did put in place, there was massive pressure from the right AND left to do so. But he was reluctant.

So the burning of the house wasn't by Trump, just under his Presidency.

Trump’s failure to properly apply proper public health policy on a national basis to address the pandemic “burnt down the house”. If we are the “greatest nation on the face of the earth” then you would expect our President to lead the nation to a stellar response to the pandemic, not one that led to the largest death toll on the face of the earth. Go take a look at New Zealand if you want to see an example of a proper national response.

All these lockdowns and false information being circulated by extreme liberal media and their cohorts in Congress. It was also, their false pretense to cheat on a massive scale unseen in US elections on November 3, 2020. Okay, we know Democrats planned to cheat in the elections, that is a given. However, RINO liberals who are Attorney Generals, Governors, elected to their state legislators as well as Congressmen and Senators acted like nothing happened? They turned their backs on President Donald Trump. Don't worry fools, we will deal with you come the midterm elections by removing as many of you as we can. See you in 2022.

Yeah, I kinda expected you to blame Trump for everything and anything, just like your pals on the left. Everything wrong with the world is Trump's fault, with the exception of Florida - that's DeSantis' fault. We get it.

just know there are millions of people that think you are the problem.

Trump was responsible for a great many fuckups. But not everything that went wrong is his fault.

This same analogy was used in 2008-9 and it was baseless then and it’s baseless now. There is not a functioning economy while Covid is out of control. There are plenty of countries to choose from, show me the country that did it right in your opinion, or even the state. I’ve looked at Sweden for example and they still suffered contraction and unemployment. The only countries that have weathered well were the ones that controlled the virus with basic compliance measures.

There are times in a Presidency where leadership challenges come to the forefront and demonstrate either the President is a great leader or a failure. Until 2020 Trump had not faced these type of inflection points - then two of them arrived in an interval of months -- the COVID pandemic and racial protests. Trumps failure to effectively address either of these issues demonstrated that not only is he a failed President but unfit to serve in office.

Leadership comes from the top. A rational President leads by example and makes decisions aligned with traditional public health practices and puts existing plans to address pandemics from experts into action. Trump merely pushed absurd medical claims and drove America down a path that led to the world' largest death toll. His behavior in a time of national crisis is unacceptable.
