Quebec is closing bars, restaurants, cines, theatres and I guess a bunch more places from October 1st to 28th at least. For a disease that mostly shortened slightly the lifespan of people at the end of the road anyway in care homes there. Second lockdown in Quebec, wondering whether locals are as understanding of the restrictions as Nine Ender claims... seems to ne they might start considering the government is taking the piss and destroying their basic freedoms. I guess they can still go out, we're wondering for how long we can do that in Spain , many can't leave the area corresponding to their public medical center in Madrid. Restaurants, cines, gyms still open though. Central government still pressurimg Madrid to close the whole city.
Pretty much everyone in the UK, had enough, not beliving a word the government is saying finally. Hospital admission supposed to double every 7-8 days, up from 205 to 245 and falling at the moment, guess that is also wrong, just the shielders coming out too soon and needing hospital care. It's all, so damn obvious, I can't believe the so called experts can be this stupid, so definatly screwing us all over.
The reason for those particular industry groups is because many were violating the social distancing rules, often 5x over capacity and those sick from Covid-19... They were not elderly and they needed to be hospitalized...three individuals had died. Worst, the link to those infected was to one particular location...a Karaoke Bar which had then spread to 3 Québec City schools (école). https://montreal.ctvnews.ca/high-ri...-that-hit-three-quebec-city-schools-1.5089695 Residents (citizens)...not the government...demanded the bars be shut down, schools involved to be shut down for disinfection after several children from the schools became very sick. That link from those violating the health / safety rules that then resulted in outbreaks in schools with some children that had underlying medical conditions... It was too much for many parents. Regardless, those violating the health / safety rules in this Pandemic were warned many months ago, if the socially irresponsible people start to cause problems for the young, those with underlying medical conditions or those not elderly...they would be shut down by the government. Personally, its better than having upset parents burn down the places after they discover the Covid-19 link back to those bars. That actually may be the real issue. Some people have adapted well or tolerant of the restrictions for whatever reasons... Others are not able to adapt or less tolerant. Survival of the fittest. Hypocritically, that Darwinian evolutionary theory is something these conspiracy theorists aim at the elderly while forgetting that Covid-19 also kills those that have underlying medical conditions.
