Good question..... I think John Hopkins and CDC are the most trusted.... I sincerely believe all numbers have significant errors in them and are underreported

I would agree with you that there are significant errors in all of them as well. You can take the over, I'll take the under.

How accurate is the US coronavirus death count? Some experts say it's off by 'tens of thousands'
    https://abcnews.go.com/Health/accurate-us-coronavirus-death-count-experts-off-tens/story?id=70385359

The novel coronavirus has already claimed the lives of more than 61,000 Americans. But experts fear that number could be far higher at this point in the outbreak -- perhaps by tens of thousands -- once the pandemic subsides enough for officials to go back and make a true reckoning of the dead.

Experts are urging leaders to take measures right now to preserve data and medical specimens so that science has the chance to determine the precise number of people who succumbed during one of the most severe global pandemics in memory.

"Under-counting deaths in this particular epidemic is happening all over," said Dr. Daniel Lopez-Acuna, an epidemiologist and former top World Health Organization official, who spent 30 years at the organization. "It’s almost inevitable."

Oh, its wrong alright. And they know it. So what do they do about it? Admit its wrong and say its likely much higher.

    Classic bullshit.

BS of the highest order when multiple doctors have noted that patients are all being classified as having died from Corona Virus even if they died from Heart disease or other causes. Most doctors without any agenda will look at the root cause. So, if a patient has multiple illnesses, what really caused his death? The doctor should have the final say as he actually, evaluated the patient. And now with most patients not seeking care for their serious illnesses due to fears of getting Corona Virus in hospitals, how many actually die of other ailments but, counted just the same as Corona Virus victims?

More doctors, atleast, the ethical ones have questioned the reason for death they have to note. A lot of doctors are just putting down Corona Virus. Not even sure if all those patients have even been tested. I am sure hospitals exert huge pressures on the doctors to just state Corona Virus and most doctors who work for the hospitals comply. Probably, because their livelihoods are at stake and can be fired by the hospitals if they refuse to comply. Hospitals are huge breeding grounds for germs and viruses even before Corona Virus. I had an 80 year old friend who came in for a routine procedure, got infected with a virus and dies of pneumonia. He never recovered from it. This happened 10 years ago.

Good friend lost his brother a couple of weeks ago, suffered long term kidney failure/complications.... death certificate listed covid. Family, outraged, had the deceased tested - negative for coronavirus.

Took act if congress to have it changed.

Hospitals make more money w/covid patients.

Bug may be real, but the politics and data manipulation are a sham.

  10. So long as the numbers are all over the map, and model projections stay highly inaccurate, there will be skepticism as to the actual number of dead directly related to Covid. Seems like a death sentence if you're old as dirt or have serious health issues regardless of age. For everyone else it's either like a bad case of the flu, which we've all had, or nothing much at all. Isolate and concentrate on the high risk individuals and go back to business.
