COVID-19

  1. Can't blame Trump. Governors coast to coast are mandating closures and shutdowns. They are the ones dictating policy state by state. Any success or failure of those policies is on them from this point forward. They are also going to be responsible for handing Biden a economy which will suffer greatly as a result of these govenor mandated shutdowns.

In all honesty, along the lines masks, shutdowns and such, the Federal Government can offer guidelines but actual enforcement is a State issue.

The left wants to play the “no national plan” mantra but it’s always been a State issue. Hopefully the desperate voters in these States being locked down will remember this come next election.

  4. Yes they can and should offer guidance, but what these governors and mayors really want is money, money with no questions or restrictions attached and therein lies the rub. At the end of the day the shutdown or no shutdown, mask or no mask, etc.,etc. Is on the individual states. They'll take all the credit if polices work, and they should. They will however take none of the blame when they don't.

@Buy1Sell2 I'm curious. Do you still consider covid-19 as being just another typical flu?

He has factually stated such in the past including "liking" the posts of others here at ET that has stated such as if it was fact.

I recall that also, just wondering if he still feels that way, as I don't recall him posting on it recently.

He should have got it long before his old man got it.

He'll be OK because his old man will ensure he gets special treatment if things suddenly turn for the worst...special treatment that none of us can get if we were to develop problems after testing positive for Covid-19.
