Wearing a neck gaiter may actually increase coronavirus transmission, study finds
A study by researchers from Duke University measured how effective different types of masks were at stopping respiratory droplets from being released into the air.
    • The study found the neck gaiter material breaks up big particles into many small particles that tend to linger in the air.
    • Researchers said it might be counterproductive to wear such a face covering.
    • N95 masks were unsurprisingly the most effective.

Trump will announce a 'major therapeutic breakthrough' on coronavirus Sunday after accusing the 'deep state, or whoever, over in the FDA' of holding up COVID vaccine and treatment testing
    • White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany tweeted Trump will hold a press conference Sunday at 6pm
    • She claims Trump will reveal a 'major therapeutic breakthrough' about COVID-19
    • She said FDA head Stephen Hahn and US Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar will be in attendance
    • The press conference comes one day after Trump tweeted an accusation that the 'deep state' in the FDA is purposely holding up vaccine and treatment testing
    • He has claimed that the holdup is an effort to derail his reelection chances
White House Press Secretary Kayleigh McEnany said that President Trump will hold a press conference Sunday night to announce a 'major therapeutic breakthrough' for coronavirus.

McEnany tweeted late Saturday night that US Health and Human Services Secretary Alex Azar and Food and Drug Administration head Stephen Hahn would be attending the 6pm Sunday press conference about the 'China Virus' breakthrough.

She did not hint at what the supposed breakthrough might be. She did, however, use one of Trump's two divisive nicknames for coronavirus.

He is not going away even if he loses, you know that? Be nice to think he will go to jail but the appeals to not further damage the presidency, he will be a bad dream memory in 10 years like Bush.. we need to go back to the 1974 and top Roger Ailes.

  8. Democrats: “It’s ok to kill ‘em in the womb, or soon after”.
Republicans: “It’s ok to kill ‘em after they’ve been born and they’ve been very bad”.

Are you able to distinguish the moral difference between the above beliefs?

Edit: We are also talking about Corona. Yes, the Republicans are idiots on this issue.

  9. If Kamala, excuse me, I mean Joe, but with Kamala’s concurrence, were to commit to appointing a couple of prominent pro-business leaders to his cabinet, they might be worth a second look.

I could get on board with Kamala taking a very active role as Vice President on many domestic issues, especially those involving community affairs.

You are maybe too young to see the pattern but the Dems are very pro-business, they continually rescue the economy after Republicans fuck it up.

The pattern is very old, FFS, Carter inherited a stagnant economy from eight years of Nixon/Ford, in four years got it stable (don't listen to the bullshit) then trickledown Reaganomics went mad with his very very non-fiscal conservative spending.

I don't have personal experience of before the 70s, was not alive but if you look at the political mytosis charts, co-operative voting, the similarities between the parties was as one would expect, fairly similar on most things.

The modern left is reacting, sometimes over-reacting with red tape to a bunch of maniacs.
