Areas with no social distancing see 35 times the amount of coronavirus spread, study finds https://www.nbcnews.com/health/heal...onavirus-news-n1206776/ncrd1207406#blogHeader Researchers found that social distancing policies can reduce the daily growth of new coronavirus cases by as much as 9 percent, according to a study published Thursday in the journal Health Affairs. The study, which looked at confirmed cases in the United States between March 1 and April 27, found that the longer the social distancing policy was in effect, the slower the growth rate was of COVID-19, the disease associated with coronavirus. For policies that lasted 16 to 20 days, the rate plunged 9.1 percent. No social distancing policies could lead to 35 times more cases, the study found. The policies the researchers studied include bans on large events, shelter-in-place orders and the closure of gyms, bars, restaurants and other businesses. The researchers, from the University of Kentucky, the University of Louisville and Georgia State University, found that by April 7, 95 percent of the U.S. had mandated social distancing measures. Most states have begun allowing businesses to reopen, those plans vary widely from state to state.

Uhhhh..........WTF!? A couple of excerpts below. What is the most recent protocol for cause of death? If someone was shot 15 times and they also tested positive for Covid-19, is the cause of death covid-19? https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...med-deaths-are-pure-solely-coronavirus-deaths San Diego County supervisor says six of 194 confirmed deaths are 'pure, solely coronavirus' deaths The supervisor of San Diego County, California, is pushing back against Gov. Gavin Newsom’s stay-at-home order, arguing that only six of the county’s 194 recorded coronavirus deaths are “pure, solely coronavirus deaths.” “We’ve unfortunately had six pure, solely coronavirus deaths — six out of 3.3 million people,” San Diego County Supervisor Jim Desmond said in an interview this week, according to the San Diego Tribune. “I mean, what number are we trying to get to with those odds? I mean, it’s incredible. We want to be safe, and we can do it, but unfortunately, it’s more about control than getting the economy going again and keeping people safe.” A study published by the Journal of the American Medical Association in late April concluded that 94% of coronavirus patients in New York City hospitals suffered from preexisting conditions.
So from your perspective when COVID-19 kills anyone with pre-existing conditions than it should not be counted as a COVID-19 death. Just ignore that person with diabetes would have lived another 40 years if COVID-19 did not kill them.
No, I didn't say that. But, since you putting words in my mouth I will explain. What should be determined and documented is the primary cause of death. Again I will ask the question the following question: If someone was shot 15 times and they also tested positive for Covid-19, is the cause of death covid-19? My primary point is the data completely sucks. Therefore, the statistics wrt to covid-19 suck as well. If that is not correct, simply show me reliable data that demostrates that the primary cause of death was covid-19 for all of the 194 mentioned in the article. That illustrates my point. The counter to that is would the person have died without contracting covid-19? BTW - You are making a major assumption in that statement. What I am asking is for that to be delineated in the data. It is not delineated and therefore the data is crap.
