That's what anti-vaxxer trolls do. They can not admit that the Covid Hospital numbers are increasing because the anti-vaxxer trolls are flouting mask ordinances, fighting vaccine mandates, and undermining vaccination drives across the country.
    • We warned them a few months ago that the Thanksgiving / Christmas Holiday will begin to show increasing Covid Hospital numbers. They counter via saying our numbers are low...mandates are not needed.
The bad news...if a new dangerous Variant of Concern shows up during the Holiday season...North America is fucked in early 2022 thanks to the efforts of the anti-vaccine trolls.

Hopefully, if that new Variant of Concern shows up...those vaccinated will still have high effectiveness against Covid while the anti-vaxxer trolls are stupidity wondering why Covid Hospitalizations are increasing.

Answer: Anti-vaccine trolls are not vaccinated.

Numbers from 6 last weeks in Belgian hospital: this is the hard reality, no assumptions. Real people really dying.

30 year old man lying already 80 days on ICU on long-heart machine struggling to stay alive. He was not vaccinated. If he would have been vaccinated, he would not be struggling and even not be in hospital.
In these 80 days 40 open heart surgeries could have taken place if the man would have been vaccinated. So a non vaxxer is possible responsible for the death of several other patients for whom there is no place in ICU. Non vaxxers should be kicked out of their place in hospital if the place they occupy is needed for a vaccinated patient.

You know I don't play games with Covid misinformation / disinformation. Thus, not sure why you choose to go there by having a question about it. :(
    • Anyways, let me be clearer...
If a new Variant of Concern that shows up in any part of the world while the U.S. keeps its borders open to that part of the world...we will be welcoming a lot of additional Covid Hospitalization going into the 2022 New Year.

This isn't rocket science...just watch what the European Union / U.K. does and compare it to what the United States does to determine which country is welcoming the new Variant of Concern.

While you're at it...watch what the anti-vaxxer trolls do too and you'll see which people in America are trying to undermine the protection of the country.

NC State professor says world needs to prepare for long battle against COVID
    https://www.cbs17.com/community/hea...eds-to-prepare-for-long-battle-against-covid/

A professor at North Carolina State University spent more than a decade modeling pandemics using everything from policy making to human behavior.

Professor Jule Swann said we need to mentally prepare for the next few years.

“We’re in a multiple year World War and that’s how I need to think about it and that’s how I need to prepare. Because if I’m not expecting it to end and it then it goes on then it’s better than if the reverse is true,” she said.

Swann serves as a Doug Allison Distinguished Professor & Department Head, Fitts Industrial and Systems Engineering.

Scientists expect more COVID-19 variants beyond omicron that can potentially be more dangerous.

That means we should expect many COVID prevention protocols to remain in place.

“COVID is not going away anytime soon and I think what we need to do is ask ourselves as a collective community what measures we’re willing to take to protect each other,” said Dr. Erica Pettigrew, UNC Health family practitioner and medical director of the Orange County Health Department. “We know that masking works, we know that vaccination works, we know that staying home when sick works and it works even better if people do all of those things together,” she said.

Those rules also apply to the vaccinated.

“I’m expecting that we may need to build up immunity over more than one variant to really fully be able to go back to the way things were maybe five years ago. But along the way we can find many ways to get life close to back to normal,” said Swann.

Fighting COVID misinformation is also an obstacle to returning to the life we once knew.

“And I do think that that spread of misinformation is also associated with lives lost during the pandemic. We’re going to have to come up with new ways of addressing that for the future,” Swann said.

COVID mitigation measures also help contain the rising number of hospitalizations.

Those numbers are beginning to see an uptick that is related to the delta variant.

Omicron could eventually add to the number of people needing additional care.

“We need to do what we can to at the very least to protect our hospitals from being overrun.”

That’s one of the most dangerous aspects of this and we certainly are getting some warning signs now that we could be heading in that direction again over this winter,” said Pettigrew.

Have you seen a recent flight map to and from South Africa for the past few months...

I'm amazed that many countries have people flying back n forth like that to that country with very low vaccination rates...more amazing they were still doing it for a few weeks when Omicron was beginning to spread to other regions of Africa.

The irony, other countries had their own border crisis with refugees and immigrants but everyone seemed to forget about Africa and its Covid problems.

Now its going to bite everyone in the ass for their stupidity (lack of vaccine care).
