We worked hard to get pandemic officials in China and trump removed them. You act like we did not see this coming when there is literally an entire playbook in the White House trump and his team chose not to follow. We had mechanisms in place to better respond to pandemics before Trump dismantled them. He denied and oppressed response efforts during the critical early weeks and were left with no defense. This is a major disaster and could have been mitigated against much better. Trump is still flat footed with taking over industries for the production of medics equipment everybody knows we are short on.

The point of having a pandemic playbook to follow, a pandemic response team and a pandemic official in China was because we KNEW the UN and WHO does not actively work to stop pandemics! They globally advise and offer assistance to poorer countries. Talk about a stupid point you cannot stop making. We had exactly what we needed in place.
