No, I just haven't kept links, not that OCD.

Remember, people aren't even using masks, there random bits of clothe with pretty much zero ability to stop a virus spreading in either direction, just laughable.

N95's in shops fair enough, bits of Clothe laughable.

If you can't see that, then, your just too stupid to ever get it and enjoy the perfect world you live in where nobody lies to you and all is great LOL

But there visible, where as a virus and if a bit of clothe over your face works or not isn't.

If you can see the person's teeth who's wearing it, then I'd say not at all.

No need to be so combative, I DO agree. N95s are better barriers.

But I'd trust video footage and eye witness account.

This is a science issue, the science is far from on your side, there is no science in lockdowns or the rest of this crap that's being pushed on us.

Infact a lot of scientists are saying it's bullshit and being told to shut up and / or being sacked and Facebook is scrubbing anything against the narrative as fast as it can.

Yeah, just got out of the shower.

I deliberately entered the rabbit hole. I wore full PPE, and I knew the job was dangerous when I took it.

I wanted to see what would happen if I tried to have a logical discussion with a typical member of MAGA. Like a pigeon, he shat all over the room.

Glad to see that the experiment and results were immediately repeatable by my piers.

    The conclusions are obvious, sadly.

Interesting opinion and very stupid opinion.

I came to the conclusion, your unable to think for yourself, you believe everything you see in the media without question, you had no idea what shielding is and still likely don't and incapable of understanding any kind of information.

You are the perfect sheep, loyal and brainless and its because of sheep like you the world is truely fucked, well done :(

And if you claim to understand shielding, the fact your still banging on about bits of clothe will save us all and ignoring this, proves your an idiot.

Other idiots that are idiots and think barely the same as you, just proves that sheep attract more sheep, nothing more or less.

Carrying on thinking the world is ending and for the sake of everyone, please never leave your house again, leave normal people alone FFS!

If anything like UK then the terrible health care deaths are exactly average for there ages, so worked in health care or a office your odds where identical, got around the health care faster so spike early on then pretty low deaths since.

1.4mil health care workers UK so 0.04% area, US 7mil guessing so it's a small percentage.

PPE didn't work obviously, might aswell of just not bothered. Anything below N95 if not positive pressure hazmat suites just pointless, for long term exposure.

Thousands more nurses and doctors have quit their jobs due to the poor preparedness to the Pandemic. It's just too stressful and dangerous of an occupation...just as dangerous for their family members.

    ----------

    By the numbers

Amid the worst staffing shortage in decades, 60% of nurses and 20% of physicians say they’re planning to leave their professions as a direct result of the well-being impacts caused by COVID-19. This sea change is projected to cost individual U.S. hospitals an average of $5 million in turnover costs per year–$137 billion dollars in total.

Healthcare worker burnout puts patient care at risk

Healthcare workers need more resources. In a study of 2,000+ frontline nurses, 60% experienced emotional exhaustion and burnout, 42% reported symptoms of depersonalization, and 91% said they were experiencing moderate to high levels of anxiety, depression, and fear due to the pandemic.

    What this means

If hospitals and healthcare systems do not look for new ways to improve worker well-being, they may risk decreasing levels of patient care while putting millions of dollars in turnover costs on the line. Research led by the University of Pennsylvania shows that patients suffer worse outcomes and increased mortality rates of up to 20 percent as a direct result of lowered nurse engagement and turnover. On the more positive side of the coin, happier nurses can boost patient care by up to 20%, according to the American Nursing Association.

    Why this matters

For leaders at hospitals and health systems, the challenge is clear: mitigate staff turnover to help preserve high-quality patient care. To do so, hospitals must invest meaningfully in healthcare workers’ physical, emotional, and financial well-being.

But the reality is that most hospitals in the U.S. are facing financial challenges, so it’s up to their leaders to invest in high-impact programs that directly impact the safety and well-being of their employees while also helping meet organizational goals.

Not only can addressing the commute boost worker engagement and loyalty, which mitigates turnover, but it can also add to the hospital bottom line. One study of 23 U.S. hospitals and healthcare systems found that those with more engaged workers resulted in 8% higher net revenue per patient than facilities with lower engagement.
