Yes, just like how the only thing anybody can ever die from is heart failure. Think about it.

As for the lockdown deal? The irony is...If we had kept the initial lockdowns in place from the middle of March or whenever they were in full swing until NOW, and the virus was seen to be squashed...We'd re-open NOW, and the surges we are seeing NOW would have been seen in October/November. Just in time for start of flu season.

It doesn't matter when we started the lockdowns. The thing would have come back with a vengeance after our re-openings, whether it was 2 months ago or 2 months from now.

People dying in car crashes, months after testing positive and being counted as a Covid, or Cancer or heart attacks, they was using from the start but they've changed to the approved 28days rule, still madness and a way to over egg the numbers.

Correct on Lockdowns, well NYC and UK where too late/weak so the lockdowns did very little to even slow it down, might as well of just stayed Sweden, but without closed borders ( like New Zealand ) it's basically just buying time at great cost.

The deaths are likely only a 6K increase in the UK on the year allowing for most would of died shortly after anyway either so that's a 1% increase in deaths and it's killed 40K extra and put millions out of work and closed businesses and 350Bil cost and climbing aswell to pay back. ( Deaths are below average the +60K above average are dropping fast ) and pretty much nobody knows anyone who's died of it.

Good to talk to someone with a brain, who doesn't stoop to personal lies and attacks and mis information.

Although I don't believe in many Covid-19 prediction models...some did predict that if specific problematic states did not re-open early or at least had followed the CDC re-opening guidelines or even the White House guidelines that was constantly being contradicted by President Trump...

We would have never exceeded 50k deaths and could have been one of the countries to become a model country for response to Covid-19 (cough when I first heard that).

Yet, somewhere among the clusterfuck, I started seeing more messages from Governors of states that "if we get it wrong...we can always take a step back and try again". Seriously, many governors start reacting as if they can easily have a do over to try again.

Gotta agree with you there too...just my opinion, I too didn't expect to see these surges until the fall or deep into the Flu season when the hospitals will be over capacity.

A provincial prime minister here in Canada made the same classy statement (cough). Immediately, all other prime ministers made it clear...we only get this right the first time around...no do overs.

Yet, they had that option of making face mask wearing a mandate on the table. My province has recently exercised that mandate to try to avoid a 2nd lockdown.

Overnight is the wrong person to try your mental games on via 3rd party personal attacks. :D

Yet, I'll extend an Olive branch to you. Soon I'll be starting another Covid-19 thread...maybe in the Health & Science section.

Stay away and don't bark up that tree. If you do, I will bite like a pitbull on a bone. Do not show up with your profanity, threats and rally the troops talk like some gang member.

Just stay away and post elsewhere here at ET.

The people it's going to kill, it's going to kill, Lockdowns merely delay this, Florida might do better as treatments have improved since NYC had it, but that's about it.

WRB, I think you should apologise for your slur campaign, trying to make out I'm against, face masks ( I think there stupid and pointless but don't care either way ) or making out it's a HOAX, not a HOAX but it's wayyyy smaller than you think it is, ignoreable levels of small.

You're still incoherent. You're the one making threats, personal attacks merge with profanity.
    • You really can not see that ? Can't you remember it just like a long time ago ?
Wow and your posts in this thread was not even 6 months ago or longer. :(

Gotta go now...really do. Yet, as a reminder, stay away from my threads as in do not come and bark up my tree. Thus, you won't see me like a pitbull on a bone because I do bite damn hard.

Blatantly false; 19% of the dead in the US were between the ages of 25-64. There is no way they were all about to die anyways. You have been posting nonstop bs on this topic for months running now. It's irresponsible.
