Well, I´m wondering what kind of people say :

"Let´s put entire populations under house arrest, destroy economies and families, mess up with the youth education, welfare, mental state and future so on average our most elderly and frail may live a few months more"

It seems to me when one has kids their well being takes priority, the old are here to nurture and help the youth, not harm them. It doesn't make much sense at least morally to put elder well being over youth´, especially when it is through one of the most disgusting freedom grabs from government we´ve seen in a long time.

The passage you quoted was a good instance of that.

F*ck !,! Rules were just toughened in Spain, all essencial activities are suspended, so construction workers, most business owners and consultants are to stay home, which got us screwed. Not even allowed to go alone to the office it seems. No more at home training sessions and sparring, which took away quite a bit of stress. Cops showing zeal to help the greater good, like harassing insulting fining and detaining people who mind their own business by themselves outside or in their office.
Madrid is apparently already past the peak of infections, but not sure the government has any plan beyond the quarantine Next 2 weeks are gonna be a nightmare, suspect it will get tenser with the Mrs.
And this is living without much of financial worries, in a large apartment, no noise from the neighbours and a large park for the residence still open for the residents to enjoy, although families keep quite a bit of distance from each other. Must be hell for lots if folks living in cramped and noisy conditions and very uncertain economic futures, Spain just started to come out of a very deep economic crisis and is already plunging into a new one

Yes, they will ask you for a receipt (the Police that is) when they stop your car full of shopping bags. And they will ask for a document proof that the dog you are walking is yours. Spaniards are outgoing people in a lot of senses and are creative in order to find an excuse for a fresh air activity outside.

Potential for new Baby Boom is right there!

More like divorce boom imo, which is already happening in China according to Mrs, possibly baby boom from single moms.

That has been the case for 2 weeks already, possibly with the cops getting more agressive lately, new rules announced yesterday restrict professional activity even more, or whatever movement could be passed previously as professional activity (that s where I m getting screwed, still reading about it, in theory it seems I could still work. My coach was checked teice yesterday by agressive cops and it doesn t seem he will leave his house for a while). Not so sure about dogs, heard some people get paid to take out the dogs of elderly folks, which should be legal considering the rules of quarantine.
Upsetting although not that surprising that the most unefficient governments in Europe, and possibly outside, have to resort to the most opressive rules to get out of a crisis.
Sweden is still going business as usual it appears, wondering how it will turn out for them.
