If she can survive so can you stupid 20year olds, get back to work before we all starve to death by the million.

Boris, who was there no.1 guy is know hated, yes he fudged his talk a bit, but really its because there are loads of SCARED people that think they'll die if they get it and they've been told to get back to work just not if they have to use public transport LOL

No more 80% wage free holiday aswell LOL

Bet he's thinking, hmmmmm over scared everyone and everyone wants to stay home and safe for ever ever until there are zero cases or vaccine, damn it that was a waste of billions to make them like me :(

The bolded bit above is the part I wished to emphasize.

NO SHIT, SHERLOCK! That is what happens when there is a virulent disease out and about that there is no vaccine for. How the fuck old IS this doctor, anyway, for feeling the need to spout the obvious?

Anyone remember the measles outbreaks over the past two years or so in those hot spots? Because those young folks never got vaccinated for the measles, because they have anti-vaxxer parents (who of course had been vaccinated for it when THEY were kids).

Is there anyone here who is over, oh, I dunno, 30 YO, who remembers getting chicken pox? We ALL got it, because there was no such thing as a varicella vaccine back then. Now there is, and has been for quite a while. And because we got the varicella, we now have to get the shingles vaccine, so we don't get THAT hideous infection.

Bottom line...If there is no vaccine for a virus that causes problems, then yes, Virginia Woolf, young people are going to get it!

Stop panicking and be a real doctor.

Don't forget Ill, like a cold pretty much always, very very very few young children dying, like 10 without health issues in the entire world.

Smallpox samples are still available in some labs around the world, last I heard, and they stopped smallpox vaccinations in the early 70s because the WHO declared it eradicated.

If you do not have a little smallpox vaccination scar on your arm, watch out!

  5. Real Money

    Real Money

I think it's too late. The reality is, the businesses are failing.

Many are already effectively bankrupt entities and won't be reopening. The jobs are gone. Personal bankruptcy will be wide spread. The job losses will become structural.

The solution is a deflationary depression, so that business can correct back to reality.
The fact of the matter is, a COVID economy is not gonna support bubble valuations.

The only question is, who's gonna eat the loss.

Fed is buying junk paper, and literally anything satisfying this condition.

"Eligible Assets in the PMCCF must be rated at least investment grade as
of March 22, 2020, and at least BB-/Ba3 at the time of purchase."

    Distressed Notes.jpg

That is a bailout of totally unprecedented proportion. That paper lost ~30% of it's value and now they're gonna give them 90c on the dollar?

That's even worse than when AIG got bailed out. Sad day for America.
