    • Want a daily driver with reasonable costs

    • Are concerned about insurance or maintenance costs

    Coincidentally, since the start of the year (2025) I've been tracking two of the largest funds, QYLD and XYLD. As of this date, BOTH ARE UNDERWATER when including dividend distributions. And this is in market conditions that should have been supportive of much better results.

    The lesson here is simple: There's no free ride.

    It really isn't that bad.... First oil change I got was $300... I was shocked and said that's it? Then they said they forgot to add something and it was $700.

    I own several exotic, lite exotic, and classic cars and my ownership cost for the sum of them is less than you posted.

    The notable exception is depreciation where where the cars have appreciated by like 30-50%.

    the most significant cost: storage.
