Officially it was the Court, but it was,of course, actually the jury. An interesting comment came from one of the jurors who was asked after the trial how they dealt with Ron Goldman's blood being found in OJ's Bronco. The Juror said, "Yah, but it wasn't that much."

A key moment came when Darden taunted the defense to have OJ try on the murder gloves. These expensive, very tight fitting, driving gloves, in the largest size, that there were receipts for (more than one pair if I remember correctly) showing that Nicole had bought them for OJ, had of course been soaked in blood. We all know what happens to thin leather gloves, that are tight fitting to begin with, when they get wet and then dry out. These gloves, because they were evidence, were tried on by O.J. over a pair of latex gloves, so that the "innocent" OJ would not transfer any on his DNA to the evidence. Of course, after being shrunk by soaking in blood and being put on over latex, they would not fit OJ's big hands. (They barely fit when brand new!) And that was the origin of Johnnie Cochran's famous admonition to the rapt jury, "If the glove don't fit, you must acquit." Just another example of where the prosecution was out smarted. They should have had a brand new pair of gloves on the ready before taunting the prosecution to get OJ to try on the gloves. The prosecution of course realized that the gloves had shrunk and would never fit over a pair of latex gloves.

The jury never heard that when the LAPD went into OJ's bathroom after the murder there was blood everywhere, in addition to the knife box. And they never heard the testimony of the girl who was nearly run down by the speeding bronco at the intersection, as OJ sped back to his house in an attempt to get there before his limo driver, who would take him to the airport for his flight to Chicago. OJ was running behind schedule because he did not expect to run into Goldman, who was returning Nicole's glasses she left at the restaurant. The extra time it took to kill Goldman was not part of OJ's original plan. The duffel bag that OJ took to the airport, but did not return with, was never recovered. It contained the bloody blue sweat suit that he was wearing when he killed Nicole Brown and Ron Goldman. He ditched it in Chicago. (Kato Kaelin said after the trial that OJ was wearing that blue sweatsuit when they went to McDonalds earlier that evening. When asked after the trial why he did not testify to that, Kalub said he was afraid of OJ.) OJ denied ever owning the sweatsuit, which was a gift from the producers of the exercise video that the "arthritic" OJ had made two weeks before killing Brown and Goldman.

The unique Bruno Mali Shoe tracks found at the murder scene were not traced to OJ until after the trial -- he denied ever owning Bruno Mali shoes. Months later a photo from Sports Illustrated turned up showing OJ wearing Bruno Mali Shoes-- only 500 pairs total sold in the U.S. A black knit scull cap with OJ's hair in it was recovered from the bushes at the murder scene, but did not figure prominently in the trial.

OJ cut his hand on a broken glass in his Chicago Hotel Room. Yah, Right!

  4. One of my nephews is autistic. Autism is a very complex condition -- it may be decades before we really understand it. Blaming it on vaccines may make some people feel better, but I doubt that the answer is that simple.

The articles below are not presented as definitive proof of anything, but rather as examples of the complexity of the disorder.
