You're confused about the terms. There's algorithmic trading which is means trade signals are executed by code and then there are broker/dealer algorithms. The latter is about improving the execution price, it's not a trading strategy/algorithm itself.
You missed my point. In India algos not available to common retail traders It is available only on three conditions : 1. Certification from Exchange to execute algos 2. Registering as "authorised person" with broker 3. Ready to pay the heavy monthly charges I am talking about common retail traders not others. Thats why we say algos in India is in prematured stage
