I see the Tao of Pooh is posting but I just can’t see it. It is not the walls or windows that make a home but the empty space that is lived in.

Yeah, illegal surveillance is like totally fine as long as it is surveillance of repubs.

Oh yeah, the below is like totally no big deal. Like, who cares. As long as it is in the name of protection, let the FBI do whatever it wants to do that is illegal including framing people. J. Edgar Hoover was so awesome!

I don’t see this as an indictment of the FBI in general. Im positive that the vast majority of field agents, support staff, most everyone in general are doing an excellent job in defending our nation.

That being said, we have witnessed a few higher level, appointed, promoted individuals that were selected and positioned for their political affiliation. What has transpired as a result is flat out criminal.

I was curious as to why Horowitz chose his words, he kept it above board and exactly to what could be proven without assumption, unlike the sham we witnessed in the House inquiry.

Now we know how members of the FBI circumvented and flat out disregarded, broke the rules regarding FISA. We also know that those same people had openly relayed their hatred for Trump. But what Horowitz failed to uncover was the so called “smoking gun”, the email, message stating their intent to mislead the FISA court.

Anyone with half a brain can put two and two together, it was done with malice and an attempt to overthrow the election. But that’s an opinion based on the evidence. Horowitz stuck with open, undebatable facts.

Comey, Strzok, Page et al. should be worried at this point, Durham’s findings will lead to arrests.

  6. I have been there with that view but have deteriorated considerably beyond that.

Unfortunately, "a few" is all the key players in FBI headquarters. Comey, McCabe, Ribycki, Baker, Page, Strzok, Ohr, Clinesmith, and various others that remain unidentified but Horowitz says they have cut corners or altered things or followed a flimsy process in a way that is a threat to all Americans if they come under FBI purview.

I get that the pro-American thing is to stand by the FBI until the end, and have been on the full ride. I even supported and defended Comey early on. But there is a pervasive culture of corruption and shoddiness (at best) among senior leadership and at DC headquarters and there is no reason for me to believe that it does not extend lower in the ranks now too. It is what happens when leadership fails. I have stuck up for rank and file at length but honestly am not in a position to confirm that there is not widespread corruption out on the field too. I don't see leadership culture that would counter it.

I heard a retired FBI senior leadership type the other day say that the field offices are finding it harder to get convictions in some instances because it just takes one person on 12-person jury to believe that something the FBI testified to may not be credible or fair. I can see that happening. I would not trash them but neither would I give them the benefit of the doubt to the same extent as in the past.

Yeh, I know. What I wrote is not pretty, but I dont get there easily. If I could see some justice along the way then that might help a little.

Just relax, if you've been paying attention, the trend has turned, and it's not a pullback it's a big time correction.
