The IG has made a finding of misconduct against a former deputy assistant director of the fbi but I can't figure out who it is. The pundits and press will figure it out soon. If anyone sees it, post it. Apparently prosecution is declined which may or may not be a big deal if they are leaning into some previously unreported type. On the other hand if it is one of the much-discussed ones, I would like to know who it is. Keep us posted if you see anything. We will know sometime soon. The rumor mill will out it. Thanking you in advance. https://www.foxnews.com/politics/do...took-gift-from-media-but-declines-prosecution
When the Washington Examiner reached out to the DOJ inspector general’s office for further information about the investigation, including the identity of the unnamed deputy assistant director, a senior counsel said to file a Freedom of Information Act request with their office. My guess is that it is James Baker and he is still under investigation for other matters so when they get the FOIA request they still will not release the name because it is part of a pending investigation.
Better luck next time https://www.foxnews.com/politics/barr-president-trump-obama-treason AG Barr breaks with Trump, says he does not think Obama-era officials committed treason Attorney General William Barr has broken with President Trump on the issue of whether or not Obama-era officials committed treason. Barr, in a sit-down interview with CBS News, was asked whether he agreed with previous comments Trump has made suggesting some people with ties to the former president’s administration had done so. “You don’t think that they have committed treason?” Barr was asked by reporter Jan Crawford. “Not as a legal matter,” he replied. “Sometimes people can convince themselves that what they're doing is in the higher interest and better good. "They don't realize that what they're doing is really antithetical to the democratic system that we have,” he said.
Barr gives a more complete explanation here of what coming events look like in regard to Horowitz. I guess this was all laid out in the full CBS interview but I only saw excerpts from it. He clears up one question that I have raised in regard to what exactly is Huber up to or has he been up to, wherein I stated that he either is doing nothing, or he is being the consummate professional and not letting anything leak out. The answer seems to be: He is doing nothing, and Barr just moved him aside when he took over. Whatever, I stopped expecting anything from anyone connected to Jeff Sessions long ago, and Barr appointed his own guy, Durham. https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/...t-huber-horowitz-and-durham-are-investigating
No, better luck next time for your ilk who have relentlessly accused Trump of treason and Barr put a quick and immediate end to that and now has gone on the offensive against some of the accusers. The ones in the press and congress he can't do anything about, other than let them know they are not headed anywhere with it.
