zzz said Face it, if Coulter had to actually debate someone of say Buckley's intellect and depth of thought, she would be fully exposed for how shallow she is. ------------------------- That is hardly a put down. I would venture to say almost every politician would shrivel in that debate except for Bill Clinton, Newt Gingrich and Dick Cheney.
I have to hear this....How??? How can you not trade as a capitalistic pig? You cap your profits at 5% instead of letting it ride for more? LMFAO! Stop it man....Have you ever thought about how many lives you helped ruin by taking advantage of their misfortune in the market? There's always an other side to every trade...You are as much if not more of a capitalistic pig then Coulter ....at least people have the right to turn her off...but you capitalize on bad news, timing and weak minded individuals so you can go in and take a quick profit at their expense.
Coulter is not a politician running for or holding office, she is supposed to be a leading pundit of the republican party and conservative thought. Or do you think she is a politician running for office?
The term pig is well know for someone who is entirely self centered in their views and show no respect for others in society, or abuses their power and authority. Ever hear a police officer called a pig? A capitalist pig is often used to denote an entirely self centered individual who cares nothing for other less fortunate members of a society. They are driven by insatiable greed. These are the connotation generally used with the term capitalist pig that I thought you would have understood. Maybe I was wrong... Not all traders are capitalist pigs...
...yadee yadee ya......You don't have an answer to your own hypocrisy do ya? Its ok...there's nothing wrong with the fact that you produce nothing of material good as a trader and merely use electronic signals to whittle away at what could be the life savings of an old lady in Missouri.....but you are only a CAPITALIST, not a CAPITALISTIC PIG.....that's some funny shit you come up with my friend
You keep saying this, but she is not a representative of the Republican Party. Conservatives and republicans are not synonymous terms, something the republican establishment learned in last year's elections and will probably learn even more forcefully in '08. In fact, Ann was asked if the reactions of the leading candidates bothered her and she said something to the effect that they better keep those statements they made handy because she is just getting started.
Okay you are correct, she is not an "official" representative of the republican party. Neither is any other journalist, columnist, etc. So Rush doesn't represent the republican party, Al Fraken doesn't represent the democratic party, Arianna doesn't represent liberal thinking, Hannity doesn't represent conservative thinking, Savage doesn't represent conservative thinking, Susan Sarrandon doesn't represent liberal thinking... Come on AAA...
It seems like a simple point to me. She is not an official or unofficial representative of the Republican Party. If she were, I am relatively certain she would be more careful in her choice of words.
